the rows don't connect because the seating angle of the NEZ is much more severe than the rest of the seating bowl. because the angles are different, the rows can't connect. geometry or something.
thats why it has the goofy terraces. They are building it basically from scratch i dont see why they dont make the seating angle whatever they want
I feel like this has been discussed a hundred times. somebody check with Scott. There's likely something in the hutch post from April. I dunno.
Consider 2 general design goals: 1) 360 concourse connectivity. 2) minimal seating capacity increase. To reconcile these goals, they NEZ needs much fewer rows than the SEZ, but the top of the sections must be at the same height. Hence, more severe seating angle.
The alternative would be to mirror the SEZ and make BSFS a true, symmetric bowl. But, I'm guessing this would likely increase seating capacity up into the 65K range.
