Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

I still laugh that they all have to be bused to the other end of the stadium just so they can touch a rock.  Tradition though.

I saw that live look in during the FSU game. That looked like a giant cluster eff. Something like that would make Old Ball(z) head explode.

LMAO look how garbage'y that grass looks. They need permanent bleachers and no aisle down the middle of the section. I mean what is that, Bramlage? smh.

Do you even Clemson, bro? The students clear a path to the field for the player entry and then spread out and close the gap for the game. Pretty sweet.

Yes, it looks terrible. Buses around the stadium and grass down the middle. And those pud lights? What is this, Cico gold or some crap?

Hey!  That's not just any smokestack.  It's a land grant smokestack.  The first of its kind.

I think it's a cool tradition but it made my head want to explode. I mean, it too them like 5 minutes to get on the buses, drive around the damn stadium, and get off and run down. And from the photos it looks like they should have had land on that side of the stadium to idk, actually put their locker rooms and whatnot so they didn't have to go around. It was annoying and painfully slow thing to do in order to preserve "tradition"

Mediocre Max Urick ran the athletic department back then, he did everything on the cheap because he couldn't raise money.

Man, and to think of what we could have been doing in 2003-2006, on the heels of a BigXII championship and a strong economy.  Put it in perspective, ADJC has raise the majority of his money during the recession.

I have been critical of John Currie both during the Frank Martin transition and after.  That being said I have to give a tremendous amount of credit to his ability to spearhead major construction projects.

The notion that John has raised a bunch of money during a recession is a bit of a farce.  While many parts of the nation have been mired in recession that simply isn't true for the majority of this state and K-State's alumni base.  Due to oil and gas exploration and commodity prices much of the state has been experiencing a booming economy.  Add in significant television revenues that stabilized the AD finances and the it becomes tough to sell the "recession" angle.

Just ask Tom Kivisto about falling commodity prices. It hurts the old pocket book

It was the opposite of this for Kivisto though. Pretty sure Semgroup was short selling oil commodities betting that oil prices would drop. Instead oil prices kept rising and Semgroup kept betting short until they were out of cash. Oil prices didn't go back down until after Semgroup was bankrupt and Kivisto was out.

They shouldn't have done that.

And they definitely shouldn't have lied about it to investors...especially after Kivisto was promising donation moneys to our TSC buddies.

Tell me about it.  I've had to find other outlets to keep me entertained.  Stumbled across a few gems here and there.  Such as this one:
