Seems Mizzou-y. I'll withhold total SkinnyBenny butthurt about it till I see rendos, though. Could be cool I guess. But permanent wraparound seating will always be the bigtime-iest.

ku does this thing where a bunch of people just sit on the hill outside the stadium and watch the game from there. feels very non-elite like a bunch of homeless people wanted to watch some football. especially when there at 10,000 empty seats.

Populous will be the architect for NEZ, The North side of Vanier will be very castle, picture a mini-WSC. 2 Big Columns in the middle and the big arched windows on each side.  The stadium side though...WOW:

It will have 2 corner boards NE/NW, the concourse level will match up with East/West side you can walk around the stadium and seating will basically match the west side just wrapped around, except there are 2 triangles in front of the corner boards that are a grassy terrace, and 2 tunnels...the existing road will become a tunnel, with another in the opposite corner.  I saw pictures today and all I can say is wow...looks like they are planning on turning the grassy area N/E of Vanier into another tailgating zone too as lots of tents were placed in those areas.

Sounds like the design is still being updated, and that means the project is still moving forward.

Corner boards are news to me, but Id' be fine with that as long as they plan to upgrade the south board. And the seating I saw was definitely not a wraparound of the west side (I really doubt that, because it would significantly increase capacity).

Throw a fence up around the grassy whatevers and throw all the tykes in there.  Throw in some pool noodles modified into light sabers so they can establish some form of order amongst themselves.

Have been sitting on this for a while so as not to upset my source, but my understanding is that this walkway will be a SRO viewing area called "the catwalk"...

Does the new Vanier/NEZ directly and seamlessly connect to the training table?

they should plant wheat in the grassy terraces, then harvest it and mill it to flour and bake it in the training table ovens into the only chocolate chip completely locally sourced from within BSFS and sell them at the auction for thousands of u.s. dollars.
