Populous will be the architect for NEZ, The North side of Vanier will be very castle, picture a mini-WSC. 2 Big Columns in the middle and the big arched windows on each side.  The stadium side though...WOW:

It will have 2 corner boards NE/NW, the concourse level will match up with East/West side you can walk around the stadium and seating will basically match the west side just wrapped around, except there are 2 triangles in front of the corner boards that are a grassy terrace, and 2 tunnels...the existing road will become a tunnel, with another in the opposite corner.  I saw pictures today and all I can say is wow...looks like they are planning on turning the grassy area N/E of Vanier into another tailgating zone too as lots of tents were placed in those areas.

Will this increase seating?  Any suites?  Trees?  Large aisles?

We're getting a bigger one in the south endzone, apparently, so I think it will be fine. Will probably make the stadium look more complete by helping fill in those corners.
