So people saw our LB corps, realized that all the players we recruited the last few years weren’t better than what we saw on the field at LB….and the 4* LB that’s going to decommit is a “meh”.  WTF is wrong with you people?  Oh, we’ll just move on to the next 4* kid?

i said i would meltdown when he actually says "i'm not committed to k-state." you dork.

Until then..meh.   *siting on my comfy new office chair.*

meh

I have a feeling losing Derricott will one of several recruits switching.

well, when that happens i will meltdown. Until then. meh.

Yeah, meh.  Losing the most coveted and highest potential impact player in this class is really no big deal.

He's not even the best player in the class, man.  Warmack and Sharp are way more important.

We got a 4 start MLB last year.  The guy in front of him (Soph) was the Texas 5A (big class) defensive player of the year.

We're not exactly hurting at MLB.

Can we trade him to Miami for a DT?

You're assuming that these guys aren't playing because the seniors were better.

I disagree.

IMO, Snyder values experience/physical maturity over sheer athleticism since he came back in '09.

Who is this in reference to, Davis or Moore?

For the future wise, I kind of agree... I'm actually confident for once that we have some people on the roster that will step up next year and be more successful than the current group we have thrown out there.

Davis.

Quote
Spring Dekaney running back Trey Williams and Southlake Carroll linebacker Will Davis head up the 61st Annual Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 5A All-State Football Team.

Williams rushed for 3,890 yards on 427 carries with 48 touchdowns to be the offensive player of the year. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder who has pledged to Texas A&M also had 459 yards in returns with two scores as the Parade All-American helped Dekaney to the Division II state title.

Davis 176 tackles and 10 quarterback pressures for the Division I title winners. The 6-1, 210-pounder will attend Kansas State.

If he wants to play on a worse team in a worse conference in a worse stadium for a worse coach while also playing less that's his choice. Tucks shirt in.

People are "meh" because it's a Snyder coached team? Since when have we ever had any big names? Hardly ever. People are content with Snyder's plug and play method and so far it has led to K-state always being an above average program. You can either be outraged at all the misses at recruits or be content that Snyder will find a random gem.

no, I got it.  7 wins.  that's cool w/ me too.  Snyder coached team.

i just don't think the staff is doing that bad a job right now. i may rethink that if we lose McDaniel to ISU or So. Miss and Riddle also goes elsewhere.

so, to be clear, you may rethink your assessment if we lose our top targets (including Derricott) to other (lesser) programs and we can't lock down a DT...

Is this your first year following Kansas State recruiting?  serious question.

it was your assessment that the staff is either too lazy or doesn't care enough. which was a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) assessment, you rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

That is something that’s said when we don’t have anyone talented.  Like, I don’t date a lot of supermodels because I just don’t want to deal with their drama, ya know?

maybe we should only recruit kids who grew up dreaming of playing at Kansas State University so no kid ever thinks about decommiting. lord rough ridin' forbid that we recruit players that other schools want also.

we should just recruit really good football players (and then get those really good football players to commit and sign).  that's just my opinion though.

it's so easy, right? how come our staff seems to be the only one in all of division one football that can't figure it out?

yeah I haven't seen or read anything that would make me believe that we lose previously committed recruits at a higher rate than anyone else.

I want as much talent as we can get, guys.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

True.  But because we historically recruit hot garbage, losing a previously committed 4* stud is more damaging than at a place like OSU, a pipeline for all of our in-state talent.

Kids flip all of the time.  We're not unique.

Something is weird, here, because he specifically said he was sticking with us over Miami via Twitter last month.  He told the dorks at GPC the same thing.  Now he wants Miami again?

He's tweeting at other guys, not 24 hours ago, saying they can win a title here, and then later that night, he's telling Cassidy that he's going to take a visit to Miami in January.

I'm sorry, but this isn't as simple as, "Get this kid to commit."  This is really bizarre.
