I mean, there's only so much the staff can do.  I'll blame them for all kinds of things, but this is just weird.

he apparently wants to play with good players on defense.  I would encourage the staff to recruit some good players on defense.

Our defensive personnel is fine.  That's not the issue at all.

He's saying that he wants to play for a "U" that no longer exists, and he's doing it while trying to recruit kids to come here.

It's weird.

For those that are having trouble with reading and are making this more needlessly difficult on themselves.

I think they've handled Derricott's recruitment the best they can. What else do you want them to do?

If you look online, he's had an offer from Miami since October (if you trust every recruiting service out there).  Then he said he's not looking anywhere, and he's tweeting a bunch of recruits about coming here, then he talks with Cassidy and says he's going to look at Miami, after he said he wasn't and a few hours after he tries to convince guys to come here...

They could just be better at recruiting.  I mean, if something like this happens once every 4 years or something….or if (and I know this is crazy) we actually pulled this types of coups like we used to at the very end…then you say “hey, what can you do?”  But we don’t.  And it happens every year (sometimes multiple times) in situations just like this.  It's basically par for the course, which is the issue.  They suck at recruiting.

So people saw our LB corps, realized that all the players we recruited the last few years weren’t better than what we saw on the field at LB….and the 4* LB that’s going to decommit is a “meh”.  WTF is wrong with you people?  Oh, we’ll just move on to the next 4* kid?

Of course he's going to tell Miami he's interested.  Otherwise, why would they spend their time and money on him?    Dvonta is scheming Miami. 

Stop being the dude that see his girlfriend talk to another guy and flips out.  CHILL!!!  She's still with you.  She's just talking.  If you get all stressed out about it and confront her, that'll increase her chances of leaving you because you seem insecure and not confident.

Might he flip?  Of course.  Should we be flipping out?  Nope.  I'm not.  If we get all crazy and keep questioning him, I think that's what might actually push him to flip.

People are "meh" because it's a Snyder coached team? Since when have we ever had any big names? Hardly ever. People are content with Snyder's plug and play method and so far it has led to K-state always being an above average program. You can either be outraged at all the misses at recruits or be content that Snyder will find a random gem.
