Also, does anyone else expect Gronk to move to TE eventually?   FB is kind of a dying breed in the NFL and he can obviously catch and run...
If he grows 6".

He's listed as 6'3".  :dunno:
I've never stood next to him, but he doesn't look that tall but maybe he is. Even then, it seems like most Snyder TE are of the taller variety.

I think Gronk will become a pretty good fullback. I like that he has some ability to catch the ball and do things that Wilson couldn't do, but its fair to say he must get better at blocking. He's only a SO so he's got time, and if the staff didn't believe in him Nemecheck would've likely passed him up.

I can confirm the staff isn't pursuing Cunningham so they don't upset Sharp. Probably a good strategy until Sharp goes to Baylor or Texas offers late or something.

I've heard on more than one occasion that Baylor is happy enough with their young QB's that they may not take a QB in 2014 unless it's a home run kid that they can't live without.  Russell and Johnson are RS-FR and True FR.  Their three deep is set this year and next.

That said, they were really big on Brandon Harris, and Cunningham was #2 or #3 on their list.  I'm not sure given the above info (if true) that they'd move down to Sharp.

I'm more concerned about Tech, TCU, or an SEC school entering the mix.

Can't see him at Tech.

I want Delton more than Sharp and Cunningham combined.
I don't follow recruiting super close, but don't we have a pretty good shot at him?

i feel like this  (or some similar scenario) is my concern for any good recruit we ever have during any given season.

Sharpe has played against way better competition than cunningham and especially delton. I'm still not sold on Delton given his level of competition.

DJamer Wally says that Derricot is coming in for an unofficial visit this weekend, that can't be bad...unless we lose to Iowa State.

Well, this just isn't true.

Bishop Gorman (Cunningham) plays a truly national schedule. They play other nationally ranked teams from around the country. So while it's true that the competition in Houston is better than the competition in Vegas, Gorman is a different animal.

See link to schedule below.

That said, I think, at least at this point, I'd rather have Sharpe. Cunningham probably has a higher up-side because of his size and whatnot, but Sharpe is the better QB right now.

you're the man, Rob.  to show my gratitude, i present the Fat Milf from Champaign's very own Fat Sandwich Company:

It includes cheesesteak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, mayo and ketchup.  it's awful.

Not sure why you would put ketchup and mayo on that...you'd think someone from Chicago would come down and kick their ass for that.  Then again, I don't know what would go better.  Maybe some Milk of Magnesia or Pepto.

Travis Green has played quite a bit on special teams. He may be the only other one of the 13s who plays.

This just makes me want Cunningham even more. 1) Whatever QB we pickup this year isn't going to be playing for another two years anyway, which would make Cunningham start as a Redshirt Sophomore. 2) If I was a stud WR I'd want the son of a former NFL QB throwing me bombs. 3) Our track program could use him.
