Who out of this class so far gets you excited? I like Derricott if we can keep him, I think Ford is a nice WR addition, and the OL added depth with two solid pick ups in Risner/Ruth. But honestly the rest look like filler to me, I know there is a bandwagon for Sharp, but I'd rather have Cunningham.

I'm much higher on Sharp than Cunningham after watching a few Bishop Gorman games this year.

Sharp is really, really good.  Cunningham is a huge project.

I've been a huge sharp fans since I saw a thread on Shaggy about him. The shagsters were pissed UT didn't recruit him at QB.

I can confirm the staff isn't pursuing Cunningham so they don't upset Sharp. Probably a good strategy until Sharp goes to Baylor or Texas offers late or something.

I'm really excited about Prewett...you know how some of these guys just don't seem to stand out much even from high school competition when you watch their highlights?  He's not one of those.  He's clearly playing at a level above most of the other guys on the field.

If that holds true, it's already an awesome class. If you can get 5ish good players and 5ish solid contributors per class, you'll field good teams.

This class is awesome if all of these kids actually make it to Manhattan. It's starting to look like that probably won't happen, though.

He's easily the best Quarterback in Houston.  Probably East Texas.

Kendall Adams, TL Ford are both really good players. Aherns is by least favorite recruit.

with last year and this year im pretty pleased with our recruiting, but alas im sure we will have several defectos and nqers so its a waiting game.

absolutely have to get at least two serviceable dt's in this class and we have swung and missed pretty hard already. i think this class will be rounded out with two decent dt's that slip through the proverbial ncaa crack

Also, does anyone else expect Gronk to move to TE eventually?   FB is kind of a dying breed in the NFL and he can obviously catch and run...

I've never stood next to him, but he doesn't look that tall but maybe he is. Even then, it seems like most Snyder TE are of the taller variety.

Depends.  Mike Moore plays rush end on some downs.

My guess is that he'll play both in some capacity during games.
