Tate shouldn't have a scholarship even if he were the best player on the team. He gets free tuition already, his family is worth millions, and if he cared at all about the program, he would donate his scholarship to somebody else.

The reason he's on scholarship is because scholarship players get certain benefits that walk-on's do not, like training tables and crap like that.  That's what I've heard, at least, although I can't find anything to support that theory.  Walk-on's and scholly players should be about the same as far as benefits (from what I've read), except the walk-on has to show up with their own health insurance.

I don't think Wilson was better then Prewett or Adams, he was the slowest of all three.

With two teammates now committed to the Red Raiders, what does this mean for 6-foot-2, 225-pound inside linebacker, Sizelove?

“It kind of sucks just because I was looking forward to playing with him for another four years, but it doesn’t effect me,” Sizelove said at first.

“I’ll try to make it down for a game with Connor and Ian and give it a second look! It would be cool if we could all play at the same place.”

Sadler agreed with Wilson that “it’d be cool if (Sizelove) went to Tech with (them).”

I, GoodForAnother, checked up with Sam this afternoon after Connor Wilson's flip to Tech because I know many of you are concerned with his status.

Sam said, "No, not really" in response to whether Wilson's switch has any effect on Sizelove. Sam did also add, "It sucks he left though".

Sizelove says he's seen Wilson's drift to the Raiders coming for a while. I wonder how much the commitments of Kaleb Prewett and Kendall Adams weighed with Wilson. Either way, the staff is very happy with what they have and are very high on the two safety commits they still have.
