I have never been a fan of Harvill. I know short arms are bad for an oline guy but are they bad for a DT? Seems like we've had some pretty DTs that were about 6 foot. Tank Reese comes to mind. I've always actually kinda like that 6 foot, 300 lb types. (I'm in no way saying Harvill is any good though.)
"Keep Calm and Snyder On"That might as well be K-State's official recruiting philosophy. I broke down the numbers of the top BCS programs in the last two seasons, in comparison to how each has recruited since 2009. Here's the Top 5 list of best record in the nation:TEAM Record (reg. season) Avg. recruiting rank Total 4/5-stars (via Rivals)1. Alabama 22-2 2nd 671. LSU 22-2 8th 523. K-State 21-3 72nd 33. UK makes go-pro-quickly pitch to JUCO cornerbackJustin RowlandCatsIllustrated.comTalk about it in Wabash StationAcross the country, Kentucky is known as the school that recruits the nation's best basketball talent and then sends it off to the NBA, typically after just one year. The one-and-done pitch doesn't work in football. After all, players aren't eligible for the NFL draft until they have been out of high school for three years. There's one exception: Junior college recruits. And while the one-and-done pitch is very rare, it's one UK seems to be making with at least one new target. Nate Willis says he'll probably visit South Florida and Kentucky."Kentucky offered me on Friday or Saturday," said Nate Willis, a cornerback from Arizona Western Community College. "I talked to the safeties coach (Bradley Dale Peveto) and he just told me the SEC is a great conference and they're looking to make a turnaround with some new coaches."He was telling me he was late getting on me because he didn't know where he would end up at, but he always wanted to recruit me. He was telling me about the coaches around him, Coach (Mark) Stoops from Florida State and the other different coaches. He was telling me how they need to build their program up. He said if I do what I have to do, come in ready to play and set the bar high then I probably won't even have to do a senior year."Playing time is important to junior college recruits, as they have less time to make a splash before NFL scouts take a look at them. The 6-foot, 180-pound corner liked Peveto's pitch."He was being honest with me," Willis said. "Just letting me know different things about Kentucky."Willis admitted that the opportunity to play early in the SEC is "a big pull" and that's one reason Kentucky has been able to make a big impression on him in a short amount of time.West Virginia, Kansas State, Baylor and South Florida were Willis' favorites prior to the Kentucky offer. Where do things stand now?"I'm going to see who else talks to me over the next couple of days. Judging by that I may take somebody out of (his list of favorites) and just add Kentucky," he said. "I don't really have a line-up of where teams are. I'm just going by what they have to offer."I can play in any scheme. That's not that important. I just like to see what they like for their corners to do. How often they blitz and things like that. So I want to watch more film on these schools."Willis has taken an official visit to West Virginia and he has two others in mind."I'll probably take one to South Florida and I'll probably take one to Kentucky. The last one is pretty much up for grabs."The three-star prospect has also visited Mississippi State but the Bulldogs are no longer being considered.
3. Oregon 21-3 18th 365. Notre Dame 20-4 16th 39
I think somebody on here was saying JUCO corner was our most critical need and the guy we absolutely had to have out of all of them was Nate Willis or something.

After we landed Boyd and Ramirez did are staff just say eff it and to start to build for 3 & 4 years away instead of 2? We are coming close to the 25 limit and still have Jacarthy Mack coming in, and would have to assume we are talking Maurice chandler. Zach Hannon might flip our way and their is a so called mystery HS defense player also visiting in January.
Kitchen was just on 610 and I was listening for some reason. They discussed some recruits and mentioned that Ramirez and either Tanner Wood or J. Boyd (can't remember) were not even getting scholarships, but walking on. Has this been discussed?
in the end, EMAW will always win.

No way in hell that's even close to being true.
