But all the KU recruits are going to help him turn it around, didn't you hear? Yeah, the guy went 3-9 at Notre Dame despite having top 5 classes every year, but he surely can't screw up that badly again.

Combs was more of a luxury commit. We have Akinola, Britz, and Hood for nose tackle. The 3-DT spot is a bigger priority. Nobody should go crazy about this...while Combs does have some talent he looks lazy on his video. Stands straight up and you don't see a motor.

I can't wait to watch our interior OL pound him into submission the next few years. Good luck with that, Marquel.

bigger priorities on the DL over Combs?

1) Hardison (true difference making 3-DT)
2) Delva (unlike Combs, can play both the nose and 3)

I'll add that it's important to get a HS 3-DT. Meant will hopefully be that guy.

You always take a talented nose if you can get him but Combs was not a pressing need.
