Marquel Combs (Los Angeles, Calif./Pearce College) is a highly sought after JUCO recruit. And Kansas State just might be at the top of his list.
"Combs claims 40 scholarship offers, but can't attend any SEC school because the conference is petrified by online math courses and will not accept them," Rob Cassidy of Rivals.com wrote. "He likes K-State's reputation for developing junior college players and its shiny 6-0 record. Calling the Wildcats the favorite is a stretch, but I won't be floored if he commits during his Dec. 1 visit.
