The fact the Sams has yet to throw a pass will allow some qb to think he has a shot... We all know thats not true but we do need a backup cause scrambled eggs aint here and Ertz needs to redshirt and Johnson. Well, he's Sam Johnson. I'm sure he's a supr nice guy who practices hard but he looks like Beaker from the Muppets.

We're going to get a JUCO QB because LHC Bill Snyder won't go into fall camp without a legit contender that's at least a Junior.

Sams will probably win the job, regardless, but Snyder's going to bring someone in to compete. Whether it's Marshall or Waters, we're taking one.

General Recruiting Statement:

If a player does not qualify, the letter he signed is no longer valid so he can be recruited again. So, hypothetically speaking, let's say there's a stud juco player who signed and then a class didn't make it through the clearinghouse. He would have to retake this class and he would technically be a recruitable athlete again. Good luck getting a school to admit all of this on the record so all of the other schools would know.

The timing of this statement seems odd. Signing period is in February. I can't think of an circumstance where this would be applicable at this time. It would be known among the coaching circles if a there was a stud player out there who signed last February, but it not part of the team he signed with right now. What am I missing?

Could be Akinola didn't qualify for us but the coaches won't mention that because they don't want other coaches trying to steal him for next year
