Luc: if he isn't here yet, he will arrive in town very soon and I'm told he's looking forward to his visit.
According to my source, Jeff will be in town today and will stay overnight into tomorrow afternoon.
As I've reported before, the trip has become somewhat "make or break" for Kansas State because they do not have an open scholarship to provide Jeff until the beginning of the Spring 2013 semester and it sounds like without an official offer, it will be difficult to persuade Jeff into coming to K-State otherwise, but at this point, it seems that is the direction the KSU staff is going (at least for the time being).
However, today will be the first time the staff will see Luc in person and my source says he wouldn't be surprised if the staff changes their sell after physically witnessing him in the flesh. The only apparent course of action the KSU coaches have if they decide to indeed make room for Luc, is to slap a greyshirt on a player from the 2012 class.
No matter what position LHC Bill Snyder's staff takes, it's extremely important to Jeff and his family that they are told the truth. They want nothing to do with partialities and/or falsehoods as apparently that was one of the driving forces behind his FSU departure.
After his stay in Manhattan, Jeff will make a stop at Cincinnati and will have a decision sometime after that.
One other note I should address- It was lightly reported through Twitter that Jeff had been on a flight from West Palm on Monday that was bound for Nashville. That's because he visited Tennessee State as a gesture to a former coach. Apparently the former coach asked if Jeff would at least pay a visit and being the person he is, Jeff obliged, though I'm told he has little to no interest in HBCU program.
