Remember when Avery Johnson committed? WOWOWOWOW! It felt really good.

If this staff can even get 1 of Manning/Randle/Lane that would be great imo.

Also, just a quick nugget about me: I had no idea who basically any of these people were like 2 weeks ago. Just goes to show what landing a few top recruits can do to your interest/excitement/awareness/fandom.

Unless Avery gains about 25 pounds before his freshman year, I don't think he will be starting by then

The heisman winner last year was 6’ 190 pounds. The idea that Avery needs to be 200+ to play in 2023 is not rooted in reality.

Perhaps but we do seem to punish QBs at a higher rate than the national average

I don't think we'll use Avery as a battering ram like we have had to do with others. We won't need to if we surround him with all this WR and RB talent.
