I just don't see Kansas State refusing to pay Collin Klein, and I also don't see a big time program hiring our offensive coordinator after just one season.

Guys, I just want to say I don't follow the 'cruitin much but i'm pretty excited. CK is doing an awesome job, but i'm lol'ing my ass off at some of you guys. Like, I really hope he is going to be an awesome OC guy, but hasn't he called like one game? I hope we have a super awesome offense and Alabama calls him to come save their offense next year, but ima pump the brakes a bit here. Go Cats.

I think this is more about Klein than how bad Mess was. He's now recruited 3 four star QBs; Thompson, Rubley, now Johnson, in addition to getting Martinez to come here. Avery Johnson might be the last 4 star quarterback Collin recruits to K-State for a very long time.

What is the implication here? That Klein will take a job elsewhere?

If we have the year we think we're going to have, he's gone.

His brother Princely (another 4* DL) is at Florida.  Instead of assuming we have no shot, I'm assuming this staff can get them both.

This is the next thing this staff needs to prove. Land a guy with good offers who didn't come to camp or guys we weren't excessively early on.

I would be surprised if Klein left to be a head coach somewhere besides Kansas State, but anything's possible I guess.

I think he would/should leave for a P5 HC opportunity.  I think we could likely retain him with a big raise to fend off a G5 HC offer.
