Kudos to Klieman for changing leadership on offense and hiring Thad Ward to improve the WR room. Sounds like we are also in good shape for Manning.

Absolutely, this! Less than a year after changing the position coach, the wide receiver room could go from being the worst position depth to the best. I’d be curious to know how much impact changing offensive coordinators had

Yeah I don’t think we would have much of a chance with any of these KS kids if we kept the old offensive staff. Who would really want to come play in that boring ineffective system?

It turns out if you run an offense that skill players want to play in and fire the bad coaches that kids don’t connect with then your recruiting improves dramatically.

Also helps to have a coach who isn’t 90 years old who was so jaded by recruiting that he only wanted to coach 2 star lunch pails.

I would think that this visit is in doubt. He’s been to Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas State. Missouri would’ve been his fourth OV. Did he ever announce a fifth?

Honestly, Dylan Edwards would be my dream recruiting process. It’s a lot less stressful when they commit early, but for program/player reputation, having a kid drag out the process and take official visits to programs like Nebraska and Oklahoma is good for K State’s perception if/when he picks K State.

Avery Johnson has done a good job with that as well. Be nice to tell others that he visited Oregon, Washington, and Arkansas on Official and Unofficial visits and chose Wildcats.
