Per Smellis the Jayhawk, the worst K State beat writer of all time.Quote from: Smellis the Jayhawk on June 15, 2022, 10:03:38 AMSounds like Avery Johnson's official visit to K-State went well. His father told me "we had a great, great, great, great time." Highlights included dining and riding ATVs at Collin Klein's house, plus talking football with current players.Next up: Oregon. Then decision time. The HugeCat Crystal Ball is indicating Avery Johnson to the cats.HugeCat disclaimer: just so Mr. clams and DeLew don’t yell at me for being mean to Smellis the Jayhawk, I like Smellis the Jayhawk, he seems nice & I think he does a fine job covering my cats, I just think there were a lot of more qualified wildcat journalists that should’ve got the job instead of Smellis. No way in hell would they ever hire a K State fanboy to be the Jayhawk beat writer in the Kansas City/Wichita market.

Lot of folks on here have giant sticks up their ass
OU just picked up a commit from a 4* out of Texas. Maybe will cool Edwards interest there.
I've never 'liked' something on social media because I was told to. And I'm not about to start for Avery Johnson. If that costs us his commitment then so be it.
If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.
https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/?state=ks looking pretty good for us this year.

This is a little bit of a different deal than Kanak, who didn't visit until last summer. This staff has been recruiting Edwards since they got here.this isn't me trying to be negative, that dude is going to OU.
