Offer list is crap.

Spencer Misko committed. He was originally committed to OSU then they pulled their offer.
We should really only be recruiting 5 star guys, with a few 4 star fellas sprinkled in there for depth.
What do you guys think about this class so far?
Octavious Morgan
A prospect on the radar for well over a year, this Butler County defensive back has hit the mute button.
There’s been widespread rumors that Morgan is all but a done deal to K-State, but he nor sources at either Butler or K-State have confirmed such remarks. Without anyone willing to discuss the latest developments, we’re merely left guessing what could happen. Our gut, like always, has been to give the benefit of the doubt to Morgan picking K-State but it's hard to put an abundance of confidence in that given how quiet things have been.
Wally's here to let us know that he has known this has been coming for a whilehttps://twitter.com/GPCwallace/status/805848510478348288https://twitter.com/GPCwallace/status/805849433531359232
WHAT'S NEXT FOR BETTS?For much of the fall, we've been alluding to the growing probability that quarterback Dewayne Betts will not be a part of the K-State signing class come February. As was stated on Wabash Station, the change of heart began during a rough summer camp showing in Manhattan by the KIPP signal caller. Other factors may also be in play. When reached for word on the situation last week, Betts responded in cryptic tone."As long as they are committed to me, then I am committed to them," the senior said in a message.Asked if he thought his scholarship remained safe, Betts responded, "I really don't know. They haven't been communicating with me as much lately but as far as I know the scholarship still stands."As coaches hit the road over the next several days for in-home visits, not to mention the many commits coming to Manhattan too, keep an eye on what does or doesn't happen in Memphis.*UPDATE* -- Dewayne Betts is no longer committed to Kansas State. This according to his mother via a social media post on Monday. (Below)
Let me put it this way: Sometimes, you don't have to pull the offer for the offer to be pulled. To explain in a somewhat similar scenario, I recall when heavily recruited junior college defensive tackle Marquel Combs was on his official visit at K-State back in 2012. He obviously had a ton of talent but coaches were eager to see what he was like in person; athletics aside. Well, from what I was told back then, it became immediately clear he was not the type of player/person LHC Bill Snyder wanted around his program and by the time he had his one-on-one meeting with Snyder, the conversation was made so uncomfortable (largely due to silence from what I remember being told) that Combs, I guess you could say, caught the drift that he wasn't going to be welcome there. So take that as an example. Combs scholarship wasn't physically pulled... but it was. If that makes sense.

I'm pretty sure Betts was recruited as an athlete all along. Ertz has two more years, Thompson will have two years right after him, and then we can "panic". We have plenty of time to bring in another HS prospect.
