Sounds like class of 15, looks like a Nick Marshall clone. Fantastic pickup but he has no one to throw to, Snyder just going to out scheme big12 defenses to another winning season with this kid.

If Silmon turns into a complete stud at RB and we find a goto wr, pair that with our defense we could truly be a surprise big12 contender. Maybe pull a semi Auburn 2013, but I still don't think we have the firepower on offense.
wont need to with our defense, i foresee a lot of under 17 point games against us this year
"a lot" sounds like a lofty goal without a good ball control offense.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

we will still control the ball like we always do, we wont score nearly as much but we will still win t.o.p in almost every game. all we have to do is get it to the opponents 35 for an automatic 3

he's got some sick runs on that highlight vid

If he's '15 he's ours for sure, right?

If his academics check out, then yes, he's a 2015 guy that would be there for fall practices. Hearing from contacts that K-State really wants to get back to the QB run game in 2015 and the Wildcats really liked this guy. Delton is K-State's best bet but it's hard to put the pressure of starting in the Big 12 on the shoulder's of a true freshman, so this certainly would give them some additional insurance at the position. On film, Banks doesn't look like he has the best arm around, but he's a blazer that can really make people miss in space.

There is about a 10% chance this guy would start this year if he qualifies in July/August.  They'd start Delton.

That said, this tells me two things:
1) They don't have a lot of faith in Ertz, which I get
2) Hubener will never see the field again, which I definitely get

Hubs footwork in his drop back is so mumped up. At first, I thought it was adorable, because he'd create a great play, but I was just being naïve to myself.

This happened last year with Derricott and that whole JUCO crew...

Snyder, at least 2.0 Snyder, puts consistency and playbook knowledge over nearly everything.  Unless you are a transcendent athlete, you will sit until you become the robot he wants you to be.

I mean this guy looks like a physical stud, but do you really think Snyder will hand his 8342 page playbook to a guy and tell him to wing it?

I mean, the kid isn't Bishop.

I think the most likely scenario is that Delton starts, Ertz backs him up, and this kid sits with a clipboard for two years while Thompson gets ready to be future stud.

I just checked.  If my scholarship counts are right, he took Clinkscales' scholarship.  So, we didn't have one available for him until that opened up.

Banks puts us at 85.

Could be another skill position conversion? :dunno: Considering we are thin at WR and this guy can run a 4.4 40, perhaps Coleman thinks he can shape him into a dominant big bodied receiver.

Doubt it,, based on tweets this kid is dead set on playing qb or he would've already gone elsewhere D1.

Delton is a RS. We are going to literally kill a few qbs this year running them up the middle like CK, good thing we have like 6 of them.
