Wanting to do better, and calling our current state of affairs "crap," are two different things.

We are almost full since this senior class is unusually small, so we have to be picky. We're in on some good targets, so we can take our time in the next six weeks to fill 4-5 spots.

We have 15 commits, plus two gray shirts from last year, and we're already brining in gray shirts for next year.  That's a sign that we are almost done.

The OL are solid, and we have a lot of strong DBs and LB prospects.  Delton is a risk, but has a high ceiling. 

Reggie Walker is a Meshak clone.  Duke Shelly is a stud.

This is a very TCU like class.  Full of RBs that will probably play other positions when they get here.

Overall, I'm really happy with it.

The was some huge misses on High school kids in the 2011 and 2012 classes that really hurt us. 2013 is when we started to turn it around. 2014 and 2015 is on another level.

Correction. To date, the 2013 class is no better than the 2011/2012 class.

Just thinking about how apoplectic with rage the usual suspects used to get on the 'bash anytime "facilities matter" was brought up.

Oh man, this guy is definitely KSU cat material.

Almanzo is a well-known character in the Little House books, and Laura writes about him, their courtship, and their subsequent marriage in The Long Winter, Little Town on the Prairie, These Happy Golden Years, and The First Four Years. Almanzo was characterized as a quietly courageous, hardworking man who loved horses and farming. He was also an accomplished carpenter and woodworker.
