wow, Zuber is a total EMAW
GPC commitment story is equal parts endearing and strange. Committed as soon as offered. Been watching the Cats for 10 years. Was actually playing a video game as K-State when Coleman called with the offer. Would like to visit for Auburn and will work on recruiting other local GA studs in the mean time.
"I've been watching Kansas State on TV for a while," the jubilant senior-to-be said. "Probably since I was eight or nine years old, it's been a place I've wanted to go because of the way they play and their stadium and the fans.""When it gets close to game time and they play that fight song with all the fans going crazy and it's loud… man, they've been a dream school of mine since I was young.""Andre Coleman came to our school a few weeks ago, around the last week of school," says Zuber. "I was really excited about it. He talked to me and we talked more and more shortly after that about how he wanted the offensive staff to see my tape.""We had a pretty good connection from the start and I was hopeful for a scholarship." "I was at home playing a video game with K-State," said Zuber before letting out a laugh. "My coach from high school called me and told me they officially offered and I told him that I was going to commit.""Late last night I got ahold of Coach Coleman and just said I'm ready," explained the Stephenson Jaguar, whose consideration of the Wildcats was only strengthened after research on the program led him to find the consecutive number of years K-State has had a player taken in the NFL Draft. "I want to commit right now.""Well, he was pumped first off," says Zuber. "But he told me he needed to talk to the head coach about it.""Then, he made sure I was serious," Zuber continued. "He was like, 'This means no more visits and that you're one-hundred percent committed with everything about K-State'. I told him, 'Coach, I'm one-hundred percent.'""I know the staff is pretty excited about me," said Zuber, whose cousin, T.J. Stripling, remains on the open market for an NFL squad. "I see how they like to use a lot of speed at the position and I know I can bring that to the table by getting involved in sweep plays, short burst routes, and special teams.""I'm just happy to have had a school that I like come in and offer me a chance to do what I do best, and that's ball out and make a name for myself," stated a humble Zuber, whose favorite player is Tyler Lockett. "My focus first is on getting a state championship, and hopefully I can get at least 1,000 yards receiving and maybe rack up 500 more rushing," Zuber said, who hopes to sport No.'s 7, 21, or 23 for the Wildcats. "Then my focus is all on K-State and helping them recruit some more fast athletes.""I already plan on talking with Aaron Williams out at Carver. He's committed to Nebraska but we talk a little bit and I know if I talk with him more, maybe we can at least get him on a visit.""Duke Shelley out at Tucker is another player I'm familiar with. We battle a lot when we play each other but he's a great player that I'd love to bring with me too.""Auburn," the receiver said. "That'd be a good one to come up for. I can't imagine how crazy it's going to be for that game.""I knew it was the place for me. It's the perfect fit."

I guess I'm a closet fan of a few teams because I liked a single player at some time in the past...

It's a pleasant surprise.
see this is a kid that gets it. he's not all about the show boating, he just wants to grab his lunch pail and go to work.
