I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

"Then, he made sure I was serious," Zuber continued. "He was like, 'This means no more visits and that you're one-hundred percent committed with everything about K-State'. I told him, 'Coach, I'm one-hundred percent.'"

Is this a new stance the staff is taking after the Sharp debacle? I thought we used to encourage commits, or was it recruits, to continue to take visits so they could find the best fit for them.

Duke would get on the field as soon as he stepped off the bus in Manhattan.  After you wade through all of the big plays in the return game the real fun starts (2:45 mark).  They used him as a corner, RB, and WR.  He is a TD machine.  I think you will love his given first name.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Maybe Coleman is more aggressive than our other recruiters?

I don't think we can call it a "debacle" or anything of the sort since I'm pretty sure we got Delton because of it. I at least feel confident saying we got Delton to commit that early because of it.

I still think the staff would like to have Sharp at this point.

Dude, no reason to be fixated on that number.  That may be from his soph yr.  I have seen a camp weight of 162.  Now, having said that, do you think all prospects that are listed as 185 in their profile are 185?  Josh Moore was tiny as a true Frosh.
