everyone was just talking about how the golden ticket probably makes the chocolate taste terrible anyway and we didn't want any other good skill players because the one we have is just fine.

So we cancel a four star RB back committed to Duke, but we have a non-ranked DE committed to Tulane coming... Makes sense.

Per my source (A+), this DE wanted to come to KSU because of our recent success and track record with JUCOs.  Told his coaches that's what he wanted.  Coaches contacted KSU staff multiple times.  No response until it was almost signing day and he had already received other offers and committed elsewhere.

Jealous that Crabby got ahold of this, because Gates and I have been trying to contact this kid for literally weeks.

We don't have a direct number for him, and so when calls to his head coach went unreturned, I finally got Daren to follow me on Twitter (@darenwilliams17) and sent him a direct message back on January 8th.

At that time, the word on the street was that he was a silent commitment to K-State. I wonder if that has changed now with the scholarship count though.

We'll do some digging and hopefully we can hear directly from the source after the weekend visit finishes.

Does anybody here believe we going to hit the 85 scholarship limit? Because I think their is no chance in hell. I think we just want to finish the class out with HS recruits because we are confident with the current rosters sans A.J..
