The difference is why in the eff would we pull his offer you idiots? To show him who's boss? Well, good job fuckheads. You sure showed him! Now onto the most pressing remaining need in this recruiting class, the gaping hole at QB.
Well yeah. I was interested in reading what I would assume was some kind of a moral argument by MIR.
Go eff yourself
Well this is an unexpected post.
I've always been interested in what I guess you might call the social morality of the college sports landscape and over the years I've gleaned from your posts that you are too. I'm still not 100% sure where I stand on all the issues so I like hearing good arguments. That's why I said I was interested in hearing your take. Expressing interest in hearing your argument hardly seems out of line.
Steve Dave's response was the obvious pragmatic problem on K-State's end for pulling his scholly. I was more interested in the point you were getting at. Maybe "morality" wasn't the right word and you thought I was screwing with you, but my post was genuine and your initial response was exactly what I was hoping to read -- a strong argument spelling out the differences in bargaining vis-a-vis players and coaches at the stage a player commits to a university.
After I read your post I thought to myself, "yep those are good arguments."
Unless that "go eff yourself" was sarcasm, then you seriously misunderstood my last two posts in this thread.
