just as i'm ok with a player pulling a commitment and looking elsewhere, i'm totally fine with a school pulling an offer if a commit decides to start looking around again.

This.

Same here, but in this situation, I don't feel like we should have gone this route.  The parents wanted him at KSU, and was actively trying to contact the coaches apparently.  I get why they did, I just feel it's a rough ridin' stupid thing to do with Sharp, considering he's really good and important to the class.

Unrelated to current discussion:  Confused as to why the Davis twins haven't been offered.  Would start/continue(?) Blue Springs pipeline.  I feel landing them and Delton would be an excellent foundation for the 2015 class.

The quote is as fake as it gets.  Classic "I'm not the bad guy!" crap.  The kid went somewhere else, lied about why, oh well, move on.

Do you guys not know the difference or just refusing to see the difference?

I'd be interested in hearing you parse the difference.

Yes. Hit me with some knowledge, MIR. I suppose I'm refusing to see it. :dunno:

It would be like a retailer refusing to make a sale.  "Your money's no good here!"
We need him more than he needs us.

I wouldn't pull the offer, but I'd be looking at contingency plans for sure.

i think they'll get offers if they come to one of the junior days. staff likes to give offers to local recruits in person.

Hubert was solid, but it's not like he was some KState legend or something.  He shouldn't be THAT hard to replace, and replacing him with bigger, faster guy who's performed well in practices sounds good to me.  We'll see.
Second most yards gained in  K-State history, dumbfuck.  :U R STUPID:
Wouldn't be that hard to when you start for 3 years and have Collin Klein, dumbfuck.

I feel like it's even more impressive, considering how many carries CK had every game.  Huber was practically non existent during several games and it wasn't because he performed poorly, CK just kept the ball repeatedly.   Regardless, Hubert was a very good but not great RB for us.   Expecting the next guy to be better is asking a lot but he certainly might be.
I agree completely, but I take issue with those who act like he's nobody special; as stated above.  Remember he took us to the Big XII Championship in '12.  Last one to do that, Daren Sproles.

We were supposed to get the #1 juco DT last year but he chose KU over us. How does Clink compare to him and by that i mean what are our feelings on the KU guy at this point last year and clink right now.

Is that based on anything or because Clink is EMAW and the other dude tried to tell us he was the final piece to #dreamteam2013 ?

Marquel Combs' cookie cream and pie filled lazy ass couldn't crack the 2 deep at KU.  My mother is better.  Clink is 1000 times better than that fat potato chip munching pillsbury dough boy.

From tape I see in JUCO, Clink is bigger(taller and stronger), stronger, faster, has a better motor, pretty much a much better player overall, and Combs was pretty good in JUCO tbh.  Clinks also faced better competition than Combs.  Combs usually got into the backfield by just sliding to his right or left and using his hands to push the guy due to their bad technique, which is good technique on his part, but likely works a lot less at D1, Clink has a lot more strength and speed to get through and around defenders.

You're to young to realize this, but that is what happened to recruiting in '04-'05.  They went after the 4-5 star kids and the young little twerps looked elsewhere just before signing.  Snyder said he will not make those mistakes again, because they left us with shitty choices to choose from due to lack of time.  So should they move on if a athlete wants to look elsewhere?  I'll let you decide that.  :whistle1:

Fair point, but Sharp was already committed.  We had a decent chance to keep him AND his mom was actively trying to contact the coaches.  It would've been fine to look at other options at the same time, but I don't think you just give up on keeping him.

MIR, sometimes you come off as a complete ass.  It's obvious you don't give a eff about our coaches, or their choices.  You would rather stick up for a kid who's actively looks elsewhere, then support K-State recruiting decisions.  :dubious:
