I know.  It's awful being right outside Beverly Hills and sandwiched between the Bel-Air and Los Angeles Country Clubs, right off Wilshire Blvd.

What good is Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and LA Country Clubs when you're a poor college kid?  Westwood is also not in the best of areas.

I know all this because I live in Southern California.

It seemed awful nice to me when I drove through the area, but I'm probably just a poor Kansas hayseed.

Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, and the LA Country Clubs are super nice, but college kids don't get to enjoy that.  The UCLA campus is very nice.  Let me revise my Westwood comment.  Westwood is ok.  Where USC is at is kinda in the ghetto.

To the other poster asking where I'm at in Southern California.  I'm in San Diego.  Was previously living in Santa Monica. 

Would love to see our cats in the Rose Bowl for the playoffs.  That stadium is awesome.  My roommate was a USC cheerleader, and we hung out with her friends tailgating at the Rose Bowl this year.  A lot of fun.  Wish more stadiums were built like the Rose Bowl.

I don't want to go to Tempe/Glendale for a 3rd straight year.

Has UCLA extended the practice field to 100 yards yet?  I know they upgrade the surface, but i don't remember ever hearing it was going to be a full size field.

I don't think the percentage of hot girls at UCLA/California is all that much different from UT, or the entire SEC.
