A few observations, most probably already known.

DL
Combs - Huge man, space eater, eats up blockers when he wants to. Looked to give up on plays early at times.
Delva - Increadibly quick first step. Sick athlete for an interior D lineman. Looks like a James Harrison lower body. Not very bulky.
Hardison - Looks & plays like a 3-4 NFL DE. Best prospect we're after.

DB(Jones & Willis are equally impressive, all 3 play physical.)
Jones - Best true cover corner of the 3. Best technique & most fluid.
Willis - Most versatile, plays inside & out, corner & safety. Would seem to be a perfect Big XII safety if he's willing.
Jackson - Ball-hawk, but looked a little raw.

by wet land, are you referring to the area north of tuttle?  there is pretty good duck/goose hunting up there.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I would put our chances in this order.
Jackson
Delva(My gut says 1 of either Delva & Combs for sure, but I really like where we're at with both)
Combs
Jones(I think we're in his top 2 right now, but firmly behind Ole Miss)
Willis
Hardison(longest-shot, but we've got an official set up, so there's definite interest)

The Iowa group will be visiting this weekend(Nash,Waters,Green-committed)
The GCCC group will be visiting next weekend(Marshall, Jones, Coleman)
-Any of these 6 would be really nice pick-ups.
-Alabama is kicking the tires on Waters & Texas is checking out Marshall. Both would give Sams all he could handle.

Still feeling the positive effects of an official visit to Kansas State this past weekend, cornerback Nate Jackson (San Mateo, Calif./San Mateo) went all-in with a commitment to the Wildcats on Thursday.

Jackson was scheduled to take an official visit to Utah this weekend, but the 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback already found a home, according to San Mateo assistant head coach Tim Tulloch.

"He loved his visit," Tulloch said of Jackson. "He loved coach [Bill] Snyder and the rest of the staff. He loved everything about it and he said it felt like home. He wanted to jump in and make the decision."

Jackson will sign on Dec. 19 and enroll at Kansas State in January, where he will have three years to play two. Kansas State continues to be a desirable destination for California junior college products, and Tulloch said it isn't an accident.

"They've done very well with California junior college guys," Tulloch said. "They have a good plan for them and they know how to deal with transfers, get them transitioned in and get them graduated. We've had guys go out there and really have a good experience."

Tulloch said Jackson will fit in very well with the defense scheme employed by Kansas State.

"He has great ball skills and does a great job coverage wise with the things they run," Tulloch said. "He's a great kid--extremely humble and a hard-worker. They are getting a good one."

Jackson is commitment No. 9 for Kansas State, and the second cornerback to commit to the Wildcats' 2013 recruiting class. He also held offers from Fresno State, Hawaii and Washington State, among others.

Oregon people desperately wanted Nate, but KSU gave him an offer and he pounced on it.
