I gues Malzan learned how to recruit ($$$) in the $EC.

were you reading cyclonefanatic??

No.  Pretty obvious when a D1 recruit picks a no name school over a BCS conf school.

Oh, jtuck.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Beasley was going wherever Delante was at.  He was committed to Charlotte, let me say that again..Charlotte, when Delonte was there.  Any $$ to MB were paid well before KSU became involved.  Huggins had been recruiting Walkers since just after he was dropped from his mommies womb.

Guys, let's get real here.  These two Top 50 JUCO guys just committed to a Sun Belt school.  We're not talking Mountain West, C-USA, etc.   It's the Sun Belt.

I don't want to ruin a good "Snyder doesn't know how to recruit"-a-thon, but let's use our heads here.  If they actually stick with Arky State, they're absolutely getting cash money.

He talked to one while the other was sitting there.  It wasn't an article, just a link to a Wabash post.  All it was is that they committed to ASU and were going to cancel their trip to Manhattan next weekend.

However, the rumor is a Blinn safety was in Manhattan this weekend and has either committed or is just about to commit, some guy named Anthony Watson.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

I have no idea.  I don't have a subscription, so I can't read their stuff.

seems to be leaning our way.  love that he was hosted by Ray Kibble and what else he had to say.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

You just recruit running backs and turn them into whatever.  TCU has done it for years.
