NIL, NIL, NIL

You sure? I keep seeing this on twitter but nothing at all to substantiate it. Is claiming NIL just going to be a standard go to for fans of a school who lose a recruiting battle?

I think it will be true more often than not in situations like this.

I don’t like it, but it IS the logical choice. Unquestionably better football, academics , visibility, and financing (uni and donors/NIL). If it doesn’t work out he just transfers in a couple years.

NIL and transfer portal have made every player an unrestricted free agent.

K-State and ND are basically the same school, elite minds walking around campus everywhere you turn.

yeah if he can legitimately make more money at ND NOW that's a great win for him. tough to get mad at that.

i can't find the tweet but i've seen some discussion around high school on-field speed measurements being inflated due to low quality of film, something about the images per second rate affecting it.

Probably has more to do with the crown of the field.

Apparently Notre Dame lost their top running back prospect to Bama yesterday (top rb in the nation *according to his twitter), so the offer and visit all line up with that outcome.

Who committed today? Probably someone disappointing, no offense to the recruit.

Sucks about the Derby kid. Martin been staying in soccer shape. Our all White’s w the single helmet stripe are hot AF.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I take great pride in not giving people the attention they crave.

"I don't want you to commit" as he currently has 18 commits, any one of whom could change their mind at any time, just as he would fill a need of a kid on his board, who has committed elsewhere.

No kid goes into a commitment knowing they're going to change their mind. No coach is going to not look out what's best for him and his program even if that's entails breaking promises or taking a kid who did.

yeah he's not blaming coaches for recruiting committed kids or the system overall, it's clearly the fault of the teenagers

Exactly, the coaches are the ones who have the ability to stop this from happening. If they made a rule to stop recruiting kids who verbal, those verbals would come a whole lot later than they do now, but they'd be hella reliable.
