Yeah I agree with this sentiment.  Definitely strange.  Another year of the worst defense in the Big 12 will probably make us feel a bit more at home.

At this point, Rivals.com says Tulane and Ohio were the other offers.

From what I've read about him on the Nubb sites this dude's situation is similar to Sams.  Nubb (and others) want him as an athlete but he is adament about playing qb.  Wouldn't be surprised to see some big boys offer him as an athlete down the road.  But, if he is solid with us and stuck on playing qb, I bet his offer list will not be as impressive as it could have otherwise been.  Hope like hell he stays committed, would suck balls to lose him late in the fall or something.
