there is absolutely no down side. If he sucks, then after a couple of seasons we hire one of the jank/hensen/boyle losers. they'll still be available.if he's awesome, then we win a lot and become america's team (even more)

god it really is just the perfect hire. the worst case scenario with him would still just be absolutely great/fun and the best case scenario would just be insanely greater/funner.

gottlieb is a smart guy. he's obviously a winner in life. winners continue to do what winners do, and that's win. they're smart enough and accustom enough that when they're put into a position to fail or succeed, they find a way to succeed.some of you act like coaching college basketball is rocket science. it's not. you've just failed at life and are projecting your losery experiences onto others. you shouldn't do that.
