Are we finally at a tipping point here? This bill appears to potentially be a death knell for many rural areas. I'm not a rural KS expert by any means, but i've read enough to know that many of these small towns are almost dead anyway and if they lose nearby hospitals, they are truly effed. Their already minuscule property values are just going to decline further but they prob don't care much about that because they are going to die in their homes anyway because there is no nearby healthcare. Maybe this is a comment in another or its own thread, but i'm genuinely curious. These people are absolutely mumped right?
