Oregon makes sense, too.  They don't have a lot coming back and had success with Kazemi as a one year player last season.

The fact that they failed to even get a visit is comical.

Man, we can't even pick up other teams' trash.......Now, I don't mean to bag on this fellow, but any player we are trying to get for next year this late who hasn't signed w/ anyone, I consider trash.

Maybe Currie should be lead recruiting when it is late in the game, since he likes digging through the trash :sdeek:

Man, I am in a bad mood today.....
Awaiting the inevitable KITN

he's the one person on iowa states team that they decided they no longer wanted and not only did we want him, we couldn't get him. just let that sink in for a bit.

I don't know why anybody would thinks loosing a JUCO recruit that has one year to play is a big deal. The problem wasn't going to be solved by Amardi.

It's a big deal because we don't have any big men on our roster other than 6'-6" Thomas Gipson.

But, yes, as long as we're fine with assembling a roster to play in the Big XII that doesn't include a big man or any big man depth in 2013, then this isn't really a big deal.

Guys, it has noting to do with the individual player or his position.  It has to do with the fact that we are in the position of need we are in, that it is as late in the offseason as it is, and that even trash doesn't want to come here.

Quit focusing on the individual and their individual ability.  It's bigger than that.

With or with out Amardi we are going to have to play 4 a guard system. I don't think Amardi was going to be better than a DJamer with marginal improvements. The lack of big depth was created along time ago before Fincher didn't qualify or before we didn't land a JUCO big. Weber really needed Diaz to be better or needed very good big in the 2012 class. Neither he had much control over. He could of also landed an elite big this year, but we all know that wasn't going to happen.

our 2013 guards aren't that great either.

I detect some stirring of unease among the tuck. But tuck will probably have to suffer through a couple of near last-place finishes before the synapses align.

seems to be about all that's required for kstate fans to think they're good recruits.

Depends on the fan, but this is true, by and large.
