Recruiting for 13 is going to be done very soon we have one spot left and will keep 1 open for mystery recruit. Edwards or wazzu reject will take the last spot within the next week.

I would bet we will never know, but we needed to be focusing on 2014. 2013 is done as is and is good enough to survive as a tourney team. Need 2 get a couple players in 2014 that have a fighting chance at being big 12 poy.

Bartons scoring has dropped in each of his previous two seasons at Memphis...down to 5 ppg last year as a junior.

Even though Edwards played in a smaller conference and at a less prestigious program, i'd rather have him. He's already proved he has the ability to score, and he has two years of eligibility as opposed to 1 with Barton. Hopefully with a redshirt year, he can develop even further and help fill the scoring void left by Shane when he graduates.

Remi Dibo from Casper College may be interested in us. 6'9 player from France who can shoot the 3 ...42% this past year, averaged 18 ppg. West Virginia, Memphis, Gonzaga, TCU, Wazzu among other schools.

So, as I understand it, we are looking at Lancona, Karapetyan, and Dibo for the stretch forward position, and are also eyeing a few transfer guards to fill a need and also balance these scholly numbers a bit. Mysrecruit isn't happening...is it? Are they just hedging their bets, because he might not be locked up? Does the staff honestly feel like any of these players are surefire NBA players? I just don't see it happening and I was an idiot for entertaining the thought.

We are really not in on Dibo, no real chance of landing him. Also I don't really think Karapetyan has a scholarship offer i.e. If he called oscar up right now and said he wan't to make it official oscar would mush him. I believe he is a safety recruit. The four that matter are Mystery Recruit, Barton, Edwards and Lancona.
