yeah, but SC still has Duke and NC just up the road (about 4 hours).   SC's just been waiting in the grass for the past, like, 50 or 80 years.

Neither Duke nor UNC offered Thornwell or Stroman. Both grew up within an hour of Columbia. USC held off NC St. for Thornwell. Considering what NC St. has been able to do on the recruiting trail recently, that's pretty solid.

I was speaking more to their proximity to a power program.  Wouldn't NC State be like KSU getting Cauley from OSU

Wut

You mean Kentucky?

I was speaking in hypotheticals.

I don't think the new staff is even targeting custer that much which pisses me off

welp.  oscar can just go f*ck himself with huge dildo made of frozen chicken nuggets then.

mixed nuts made a good point about only needing so many spradlings (orris, og sprads) on the team though :dunno:

Oh, I completely agree that it is bad to have 3* worthless nobodies like Sprads....and Orris.  It's not bad, however, to have Cluster (4* top 100 player).

Or a 4* top 100 player like Nairn, who's ranked ahead of Custer according to rivals.

The beat goes on for Kentucky and Coach Cal, Harrison twins just committed there.

Don't care if it's not directly relevant to KSU, if you're a hoops fan, you should know this.

Picture is pretty grainy(on my computer at least) but I believe Westicles can be seen at announcement at very top of picture wearing K-State shirt.

2013 Simeon (IL) forward Jabari Parker has cut his list to BYU, Stanford, Duke, Michigan State and Florida,

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

He's Mormon, more than likely wants to be able to do the Mormon thing wherever he winds up.

FWIW, that same update I posted above giving Parrish's offer list also stated Greg Wesley(6'7" PF from Arlington - NOT the ex-Chiefs safety) has a KSU offer.

I'm pretty skeptical of that 1 because I can't find any other mentions connecting Wesley and KSU and the update also says Wesley has offers from Texas, Texas A&M, and OK St. I imagine interest has been shown to Wesley from those schools but that's a fairly salty offer list for a kid that hasn't created huge buzz on the circuit.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Greg-Wesley-122032

Wesley recently committed to North Texas. He sounds like a nice player but I think his offer list may be inflated a bit.

UConn's Karl Hobbs will checkout '13 Long Beach Poly (CA) PF Jordan Bell.

FWIW, UConn's new coach, Kevin Ollie, is a native of LA. Oregon came in to see Bell last week.

If UConn offers, we're out.  If they don't, we may have a fighting chance.

Pretty much, but if they don't, oh man, it's the Bell/Atewe sweepstakes.

Who is better?  And when does Atewe plan on making a decision?
