Semi Ojeleye is a good looking '13 prospect for Spiece Mo-Kan

freeman is impressing people at telep's carolina thing too.  graham is as well, though i suppose that's irrelevant now.

Semi Ojeleye, SF, MoKan Elite- Physically, the 6-foot-5 sophomore wing from Ottowa (Kan.) High is a beast. Ojeleye already has a college ready body, is a good athlete and can power to the basket. Spot up jumpers out to the three point line aren't bad shots for him. He plays hard, but there's another level he can get to.

Semi Ojeleye is a well built wing from the class of 2013 who had a nice opening night for MoKan Elite. The well built 6-foot-5 wing was aggressive to the rim, knocked down some open looks and appears to be tracking as a high major prospect. ? A teammate of Ojeleye and Willie Cauley on MoKan Elite, 2013 shooting guard Austin Ruder is a dangerous catch and shoot guy. At one point during MoKan's win over King James, the 6-foot-2 Ruder knocked down four straight threes during a four minute span while racking up 18 points. ?

surprise, possibly erroneous, superelite mention.

Not surprisingly, Randle has a who’s who of colleges on his tail. The schools coming at him the hardest include Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, Kansas, Kansas State, Duke and Louisville.

rankin scoop.

Just spoke with my man coach Jeff Duncan and Sonny Parker in Chicago and Simeon is loaded with coaches today. Bradley, Loyola (IL) K-State.

would be great if martin/hill were watching jabari parker, but prolly not.  with bradley and loyola as the other mentions, it doesn't feel that elite.  maybe kendrick nunn?  he's meanstreets.  parker and taylor are mac irvin fire.  jones was from simeon too, so worst case scenario would involve him.

Frank: "Yeah, Miami wants me pretty bad, but haven't even thought of leaving K-State. Its a great place for basketball and I hope you'll come join us and be part of it. Just look what happened with guys like Michael Beasley, Bill Walker, Denis Clemente, and Jacob Pullen."

Freeman update from UVA site, sounds like the KSU Cats are really getting after him:

"I'd say Georgetown, Kanas State, and West Virginia are recruiting me harder than any other schools," Freeman said. "Right now, I'm at the point where if you're interested in me, then I'm interested in you."

A couple of recent observations on Freeman from Dave Telep and Evan Daniels resespectively who both saw him play at the Carolina Challenge in late March:

Telep:
"Freeman's a real interesting prospect," said ESPN's Sr. Recruiting Analyst Dave Telep. "He's one of those guys with an exceptionally strong body that could guard three positions, shoots it well enough to keep you honest and he's a sneaky point guard prospect in 2013."

Daniels:
"Allerik Freeman, SG – It’s clear that Freeman has spent some time developing his body. He looks visibly bigger and stronger than last summer and it certainly helped his game on the court. A 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard, Freeman is especially effective in the open court where he uses his vision to find teammates and has terrific body control when he gets to the rim. While he didn’t take many long-range shots, he was efficient from mid-range and showed good touch on his floaters."

i really like the concept of freeman.  wish i knew why kstate is recruiting him/the connection.

from alvarez on the radio, kstate is recruiting a couple of younger miami tropics.  one is gian louis clavell, a 2013 shooting guard from pr.  i didn't catch the name of the 2nd.

romar applies clownsuit to martin and the rest of these coaches wasting their time on futile elite mentions.

Quote
Parker would excel in Washington's system as well. He actually visited Washington last weekend. A strong connection exist between Parker and Lorenzo Romar, beginning with Parker's dad being teammates with Romar on the Golden State Warriors.

Another factor in Washington's recruitment of Parker is that Parker's older brother Chris Parker is a candidate to join the Washington coaching staff. Presently he is a junior college coach in the area.
