A silent, oblivious supporter of why Donald Trump is the President of the United States.

Top Headline on the ESPN.com site this morning was Popovich's comments about Trump and how he's disgusted and "sick to his stomach" that Trump won.

All those conspiracy theories that Trump was a Hillary plant....  Member those?  I'm starting to wonder if ESPN, CNN, and the like aren't, in fact, Trump plants.  I mean it is almost like they want Trump's reign to never end.

I simply cannot believe that these sophisticated, highly intelligent people are incapable of figuring out that hyper-partisan articles like the one parroted about Popovich aren't exactly what got Trump elected in the first place.  Right?

For months, MONTHS, the media has de-legitimized everything about the Trump campaign and the people who have vigorously supported him.

"Fed up with middle-class jobs packing up and leaving the country?  Sounds like something only a racist would feel, racist."

"Mad that your insurance premiums are 75% higher than what they were pre-Obamacare?  I think it's much more likely that you're just a ******* racist!"

"Think we need to protect American lives at home, or abroad?  You sick ****!  Eat a giant dick, racist!"

They don't get it.  And so, they're feeding it.  It's an incredible phenomenon.  The people who want everyone on planet earth to believe that they are the smartest people in the room--are completely oblivious to the fact that they are dumber than the people they are so desperately and unsuccessfully attempting to manipulate.

The intolerant Left is shriveling up and dying before our very eyes.  It is a sight to behold.  What a time to be alive.

I've heard nothing of this since trump won??

Barack Obama and the left have used their divisive political correctness agenda not only to attack and infuriate their opponents, they have used it to inflame and enrage their own supporters, who they knowingly and intentionally have tried to pit against each other.

At the same time they regard and promote their "Political Correctness" agenda as more important than literally anything, including our national security, law and order, the US constitution, civility and national unity, etc. This agenda has been extremely harmful to our country and the people in it are angry to the point where systematic violence is becoming a real concern.

In fact, some people are quite concerned about the possibility of significant violence after the election, perhaps regardless of who wins. That appears to be a very legitimate concern, especially when you take into account the violence and lawlessness we have seen in places like Baltimore, where the Democrats in charge of that city effectively tied the hands of the police and stood by while rioters looted and burned that city.

These are very frightening images to any sane person. Of course, this was not the only incident of rioting, looting or criminal violence that we have see take place over the last eight years by any means. However, it should be noted that in nearly every case, these acts of criminal violence have been conducted by supporters of the Democrat left. I would not put any bets on it staying that way for very much longer.

The rage and hostility that we see engulfing our country right now has been carefully cultivated and nurtured by Obama and the left, because they believe this is an effective way for them to empower themselves - at the expense of the American people. He and his associates thought it would be good to really aggravate the fire out of pretty much everyone. Well, they have achieved their objective, perhaps too well, and our nation is much to the worse because of it.

Barack Obama is the most effective enemy our country has ever faced, hands-down, case-closed, game-over. He really is.

Statists gonna State. They don't understand:

1. There is no crime without a victim. Speeding itself cannot be a crime. In fact, of most traffic "offenses", a moral argument can only be made for reckless driving, as applied where actual damage against person, property or liberty is potentially imminent.

2. Speeding itself does not kill. Poor vehicular maintenance or construction, speed differential (slow-moving vehicles or objects in a highway lane), poor road conditions or impaired judgment/distracted driving are all major factors in fatal or near fatal crashes. Speed limits prevent none of these and in fact often contribute to crashes as faster drivers often wish to pass and get out of the way of unsafe, slower drivers or potential hazards. This leads us to...

3. Speed limits are mostly a revenue collection device, another hidden "tax". In fact, most traffic "safety" laws are used primarily for filling government coffers, enriching bureaucrats and taking valuable police time away from solving real crimes. Much like similarly victimless crime drug laws, they divide and alienate a large segment of the population from the police paid to oppress those who indirectly pay their salaries. Sometimes it gets so bad that even the Justice Department objects to the level of the extortion, as they did in Ferguson, MO. Most of the time though, they get away with it as they get away with almost anything nowadays.

The role of law enforcement should not be that of an overpaid metermaid. A new focus on only crimes with real victims would cause officers to be lauded by more than just the usual authoritarian apologists. An end to the militarization of local police and real, community service reachouts could help end the conflict. As it stands, for all of the racial division narrative being pushed, the real war is not black vs. white. It's blue vs. you.

Kansas State Football / If KU hoops sucked...
« on: September 18, 2016, 11:45:30 PM »
As bad as Notre Dame football has for a while now...would we still get the same national love and attention? I feel like we're the same national type of program, but we wouldn't get the same grace period. I feel like we'd be treated more like Indiana hoops.

Kansas State Football / Jim Harbaugh story
« on: September 11, 2016, 11:07:45 PM »
In the thread about 'worse blunders in KU history' is was mentioned several times that Harbaugh didn't take the job because 'he wasn't allowed by Lew to coach in Stanford's bowl game' before coming to KU.

Confusing because the insiders at TOS are pretty stat that wasn't the case.  Instead Harbaugh took the job, but insisted in bringing his staff and having complete control over his personnel as assistants.  Lew agreed to this to Harbaugh, but didn't tell the incumbent KU staff / fire them which I believe Harbaugh wanted done before he showed up.  The story goes that a couple of our incumbent staff reached out to Harbaugh to say they were 'looking forward to working with him' and Harbaugh promptly messaged to Lew that the deal was off after that.

Kansas State Football / SEC.....Over-Rated? (Again)
« on: September 06, 2016, 10:19:07 AM »
So, SEC goes 7-7 opening weekend with only one of those games being a league game. Granted, there were several marquee games in the bunch.  But still, the self-appointed Premier League in CFB should do better than that. Having a big fat ESPN contract is nice and all....but at some point you have to win some games agains quality opponents outside the conference. Am I the only one who suspects that ESPN is over-inflating the strength of SEC football so that they can put more fat asses in front of flat screens and sell more beer?
A related aside, IMO. There is some historical parallel with the supposed strength of Big East basketball over several decades after ESPN's PR machine made them into some mythical super power. There were some good teams and good players for sure...but much less so when matched against quality opponents outside their league.
SEC....SEC

My Fellow Americans,

Our American Nation is the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever known. It’s given generations of citizens the blessings of liberty ever since the Founding Fathers risked their lives in what seemed like an improbable bid for independence. While the republic they created was one of imperfect freedoms, for 240 years the arc of progress and liberty has moved ever-upward. Even in times of economic crisis and war, our nation has been a singular source of hope for people throughout the world yearning for liberty, dignity and opportunity.

I proudly and quietly served our country for most of my adult life, first as an undercover operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency and more recently as a senior national security and policy advisor in the House of Representatives. My service has given me unique, firsthand knowledge of the threats our nation faces, the burdens borne by hardworking Americans, and the numerous areas of our government that desperately need reform.

Like millions of Americans, I had hoped this year would bring us better nominees who, despite party differences, could offer compelling visions of a better future. Instead, we have been left with two candidates who are fundamentally unfit for the profound responsibilities they seek.

Hillary Clinton is a corrupt career politician who has recklessly handled classified information in an attempt to avoid accountability and put American lives at risk including those of my former colleagues. She fails the basic tests of judgment and ethics any candidate for President must meet. Moreover, she only offers stale economic ideas like the same old top-down government control that has brought us eight years of historically low growth.

Donald Trump appeals to the worst fears of Americans at a time we need unity, not division. Republicans are deeply divided by a man who is perilously close to gaining the most powerful position in the world, and many rightly see him as a real threat to our Republic. Given his obvious personal instability, putting him in command of our military and nuclear arsenal would be deeply irresponsible. His infatuation with strongmen and demagogues like Vladimir Putin is anathema to America values. We cannot and must not elect him.

Millions of Americans are not being represented by either of these candidates; those of us who care about the strength of the military and intelligence services find little to embrace in either Trump or Clinton.

Americans who believe in limited, Constitutional government that is smaller, smarter, and more accountable view both Clinton and Trump as symbols of corruption and excess that provide no hope of basic competence in the federal government.

Those who embrace the dignity and value of every human life from conception until death; who understand the crushing danger of our unsustainable national debt; who believe deference to our Constitution outweighs partisan political priorities are all looking for something better than the two major party candidates are offering. These foundational and time-tested principles transcend party and politics but sadly have no champion in this election. We must not abandon the fight for these values, for doing so will deprive future generations of Americans the bright future we want to give them.

With the stakes so high for our nation and at this late stage in the process, I can no longer stand on the sidelines. Our country needs leaders who are in it for the right reasons and who actually understand what makes this country the greatest on earth. Leaders who will unite us and guide us to a prosperous, secure future, beyond the dysfunction of a broken political system.

Just as the American Revolution required men and women devoted to liberty and freedom to stand up and be counted, this moment calls a new generation to the same sacred task. With that in mind, I have decided to pursue the cause of American renewal and the Presidency of the United States of America.

With Hope For Our Future,

Evan McMullin

Evan McMullin is an independent candidate for President.

The conservatard blogs are going apeshit predicting a race war in america soon (initiated by blacks). Of course their predicted fallout of this is Obama will declare martial law and cancel the election so he can be supreme ruler.

What do you dudes think? Personally I don't see how a race war would ever start or sustain any traction. Maybe the dax's of the world are correct and black on white racism is the most destructive force in modern society. Who knows?

They are very busy right now. We already discussed (I think)  how they are trying to unconstitutionally ban abortion, now this:

Quote
Oklahoma’s Republican-dominated legislature has filed a measure calling for President Barack Obama’s impeachment over his administration’s recommendations on accommodating transgender students, saying he overstepped his constitutional authority.

Lawmakers in the socially conservative state are also expected to take up a measure as early as Friday that would allow students to claim a religious right to have separate but equal bathrooms and changing facilities to segregate them from transgender students.

Quote
The impeachment call seems to be on shaky ground since the letter offered non-binding guidance and did not have the force of law, legal experts told local media.

State Representative John Bennett, a Republican, said in a statement the White House directive was “biblically wrong,” and a violation of state sovereignty.

The Oklahoma bill would allow for segregation at school restrooms, athletic changing facilities and showers if a request is made to accommodate religious beliefs
