Too bad kellis didn't face-@ oscar with any of these points at the presser.

"Obviously, it is easy to get that top-10 kid."  :dubious:

That's the #wwwd.       (Someone add the deal with it sunglasses)
Don't forget the neck brace!

The following are some 1st game of the season scores by K-State against non-division I schools:
North Dakota State (non-IA)   L   21   24
Eastern Kentucky (non-IA)   W   10   7
Massachusetts (non-IA)   W   21   17
Illinois State (non-IA)   W   24   23
Western Kentucky (non-IA)   W   27   13
Montana (non-IA)   W   27   12
Indiana State (non-IA)   W   26   25
Western Illinois (non-IA)   W   27   6

I remember Stan talking about ND State before the first game and he expected a 3 to 4 point game.

The surprise isn’t that NDState beat KSU, but that it hadn’t lost an opening game to a non-IA team under Snyder previously.

The Stan-bot was not butt-hurt about your bison, he was giving an informed opinion based upon more than 30 years of analyzing  K-State football and more than 20 years of data on how Snyder builds a team up throughout the year.  The Stan-bot has deleted more information about football than you will ever know about football. The Stan-bot is not programmed to process or output butt-hurt.

beems didn't meet a single person from KC, must not have left his room, took classes online?

That's not even close to what I said.  What I said is that I never met anyone who lived in KC while attending KU.  The truth will set you free.

So are the people riding the buses making more than 20 round trips between Lawrence and KC each day site seeing the beautiful red roofs of KU?

LSU to the Big 12!!! :Woohoo:  will it happen???
idk...  Why are we whispering???
Just think this would shake up the football world.
So you want to start that rumor, eh?  Well I'm in especially if they bring Arky with them. :excited:
Shaggy Bevo is connecting these same dots as well.

Link?

I tried to link the site, but it didn't seem to work. It's the realignment won't go away thread on the football board.

Way to go Ohio State, there goes my billion dollars.

What percent of the billon dollar brackets were eliminated after the first game?
90 %, 95% ?

19.7% of the ESPN brackets had Dayton, so something along those lines

Thanks! Just curious.

has there been any program that has blatantly cheated as much as Kentucky and gotten away with it?

Yes. Kansas.
LITTLE BUTT HURT THERE SON?

Not True, Kansas has been caught more often than any NCAA basketball team.
Wichita State used to be the team that had been penalized the most. But KU flew right past them!

The Baylor pbp guy thinks your dumb, _fan (no offense, he said it, not me). He's got Baylor winning all the way. He just said that on 810.

He also was on 810 before their home game vs KU (Baylor was coming off of 6 pt win in Stillwater). And  he thought BU was gonna beat the squawks.  They lost by 17.

As much crap as I like to talk on ISU fans, Baylor fans are a special kind of delusional.

Being the Baylor pbp guy, he also said that he could never pick against the Bears.

BITB is melting down about Harbaugh.  So blessed.

You're the 4th person on a message board that has said this. Details please.

He's Trolling KU fans. Quoting Bill Self saying he would never do anything to take away from Senior Night. Then pounding away at how Harbaugh took away from Senior Night.

Correct me if I'm wrong but saying that KU built the track complex is a bit of an overstatement. Didn't KU figure out a way to put the city of Lawrence on the hook for that?

But it is kind of hilarious to think Jevon isn't playing because he hasn't figured out the pick and roll yet.

Not exactly what Stan said.  He said that Jevon is behind on knowledge and implementation of the system because of his time not practicing.  Said that this is the time when teams are getting very good at running their systems and scouting others.  Stan said that Texas, for example, knew what to do against 5 different options that our offense can run through but Jevon doesn't know anything past the first or second options because he hasn't caught up on it yet.

Seems dumb to me.  I mean, he basically sounded like he was saying we are writing off Jevon this year because there isn't any way he could catch up to the level of offensive understanding the rest of the team has without him.

I feel like, if Jevon is not in oscar's doghouse, and has just been limited in playing time in some of the more high profile games against the better coached teams, then he should see more playing time down the stretch. This includes games agains Baylor (2), TCU, and OSU who are at or near the bottom, in my opinion, of not just the league standings but in terms of coaching and scouting.

The thing that stood out to me that I don't remember reading in the past, was their plans for phase V.

Quote
Phase V: East Stadium Upgrades

--- Concourse Additions & Upgrades
--- Aesthetic Improvements
--- East Premium Seating Updates
--- East Stadium Fan Amenities
--- Kid Zone / Family Playground

I always thought it was a pipe dream to put a new facade on the east side, but it looks like Currie agrees with this and we may be moving in that direction.  Was the east side a part of the master plan before the update?

I'm not sure, but I don't think the east side was included in the master plan before.

Quote
Concourse Additions and Aesthetic Improvements
An expansion and update of grass roots fan amenities to the east side will come in conjunction with additional limestone, entrance gates, fencing and landscaping to bring the east stadium up to the standard in service and appearance established throughout the rest of LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

fort snyder, tho...apparently
I am #1cat and consider myself a pretty big 'cat fan for my entire life. I don't think I have ever heard 'fort snyder' before reading it in this thread. Thank God that never stuck anywhere other than GPC.

Agreed, I have never heard of Fort Snyder either.  :blank:

I think Phase IV isn't getting enough love.....

ribbon boards, video boards, score boards, mismatched turf, limestone wall... :headexplode:

The width of the video boards shown above on the north and south ends of the stadium are somewhere around 160' wide.

Quote
From wikipedia: Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium Scoreboard
The scoreboard measures at 81 feet (25 m) tall and 136 feet (41 m) wide with a pixel resolution of 2064 x 848.[12] The scoreboard was installed as part of a US$150 million stadium renovation, $8 million of which is being spent on audiovisual improvements. The new high definition screen is the centerpiece of these improvements and debuted at the start of the 2006 football season.[13]

Could we be looking at two video boards bigger than the board in Texas!  :excited:
