Good grief, nice of the refs to let smart try to punch Shane in the face

6677
why The eff Was There No technical Foul On Osu when Tay Had An Open Three And Their BItch asS fans Threw A bottle?
Yeah no kidding that water bottle took away an open look at a 3. I thought that tactic was punishable by technical foul, esp when it disrupts game flow

6678
was there any doubt this would be the game smart and Nash decided to help us try on the clown shoes?

I'm fine with ku calling us little bro if they want. Can't decide which is the more valid comparo:
ku:ksu :: fredo corleone:michael corleone
Or perhaps buzz mccalister:Kevin mccalister

No love for Stew from anyone? I feel like his ability and demeanor made him like Rod except he was willing to be a little silly in the tunnel.

Guess its a matter of perspective. I'd offer that the ku+3@isu is the other glaring reason we aren't sitting alone at the top right now

Shocks are still likely to end up in the Dance. 24 wins so far, and somehow still leading the MVC. We'll see.

Creighton will win the league when they beat WuShock this weekend though.

Could very well happen. Still, 24+ wins will be hard to ignore.

I dunno I'm just looking at probable seedings. What's the lowest seed that still gets at large, 12? Schochs were probably squarely a 10 before tonight and even with a soft bubble I'm not sure losing at cu and then whoever knocks them out of the valley tourney leaves them much room

Serious tSc question: is WSU really a lock for the tourney after tonight's bed shitting? I mean, I know everyone who supports a team from the mvc says the mvc is a good conference but I just really don't see it. I'm sincerely willing to listen if anyone has a compelling argument but from what I can tell wsu has 5 losses ranging from "ehh" to "very bad" and the only real win of any substance was at VCU. I dunno, if they lose @CU Saturday, it just seems like the whole at-large thing kinda went byebye

After tonight, the "let Vince McMahon write the script for NCAA basketball games" experiment should probably be over.

i'm predicting, for no good reason, that tonight will be a crap show and we win by <10

This.  We are due for a stinker and not having our best shot blocker (and tallest player) plus a solid defender in Will hampers us tonight.  I say its uncomfortably close at halftime.

Touché

Is Scott Drew having some sort of Quinn Snyder coaching death spiral? Hopefully NCAA violations are to follow.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've become way less scared of playing @Baylor.

THAT'S JUST WHAT THEY WANT

Went to the @baylor game 2 yrs ago. It was weird, 2 top 25 teams and the place was maybe 70% capacity. It astounds me how generally ambivalent their fan base is. Saturday will be a neutral court

I don't care much for driving the speed limit but I do it bc it makes my car insurance less expensive. Nobody is forced to participate here, but rewarded if they do participate to the fullest.

Alright guys, this is really pretty simple...it all comes down to incentives. Lets pick a few incentives that should generally appeal to ALL students, for example: priority tix for football, priority enrollment in following semester classes, priority entrance for KU bball game next year, and $$. One of those should appeal to any student who would buy tickets. When you buy your tickets, you select one of the incentive options. During the season, you get "points" based on what order your ticket is scanned (rewarding those who show up early) but also factors in staying the whole game. You have to scan out after the game. If you leave early, you lose points, and if you only scan in but not out- no points. Weight games like tje non-con puds over holiday break to get more students to attend. Anyway, still need to work out the structure but the more points you have at the end of the season, the more you get towards your selective incentive: a bump in how soon you can order football tickets, a bump in how soon you can enroll, earning enough points to be one of the select 500 (adj) to get to skip to the front of the line for the KU game. Or, for those not interested in any of the above, some kind of rebate on the total cost of their tickets or just a credit to your student account. Seats will stay full.

Something agressively irreverent. "Jo-hn Stoss-le!" Clap clap clap clap clap. But really really loud and angry like. That should get in his head.

Sheesh. I hope our students never rush the court when we beat the unranked 4th place team in the conference. Smacks of desperation.

mods, please move to phog.net.

TIA
Nothing phoggy about it, friend! I'm all for rushing the floor but I mean, come on.

Can't blame hoiburg for not fouling. That strategy has been money for them all season.

Did anybody else see flood aggie babb rip off harper's feeding gesture? Not okay. Get your own move, fella.

somebody needs to do something b/c Diaz cannot stay in.  He's making Kevin Young look valuable.

6698
Could give a crap about confy title. More concerned about big dance. If we stub our toe Monday night, that's 2 bad losses and the selection committee might punish us harshly (we'd deserve it if we got swept by dogshit). Might drop us to a 6 seed or so.

6699
Couldn't Shane be decent at the tunnel dance?  He's pretty adorable.  If not the dance, maybe he could just stand there and make beautiful faces as the camera zooms in and then back out repeatedly or something
Agreed.  Adorableness is an adequate substitue in lieu of dancing.  My guess is Shane is such a stud that even a modest jig from him with a little wink at the end will be all
