If you're signing your name in wet concrete, there's no rule against back-dating it

True, there's technically no rule against lacking dignity.

What can I say? I'm a wildcard. I live for kayos (?)

2
Nope, not even a little bit. Who is exuding the quintessential #blueanongE/#neocongE behavior here? As you know I'm always several laps down and need things explained to me plainly

3
Dax me boy, just so we're all on the same page, who are you indicting by this post? The students/protesting faculty or the administration that gave those kids the boot?

Marauder be such a pirate word

#blogkaren was calling me a racist awhile back as I was calling out Israeli genocide in Gaza. Now college campuses are being taken over by racists (using #blogkaren logic).

What the hell are you on about?

Can't even remember what he posts . . . SMDH

I also can't remember can you remind me, the several laps down guy?

Give yourself some time to mourn and heal, but then it's time to accept this new reality and move forward.

Also, just out of curiosity, do you have a weak, neutral, or strong grip? And by that I mean the position of your left hand (assuming you're a righty) on the club. Is your palm under the club (weak), on the side (neutral) or on top (strong)?

Just my  :th_twocents:  but I have found one of the quickest ways to fix a slice without having to figure out what's goofy with your swing is to move to a stronger grip. The more on top of the club your left hand is the easier it is to roll the clubface over. Heck, you might even start to draw the ball a little bit (which is by far the sexier ball flight, not even an opinion it's just a fact Jack)

I think one of the best feelings in golf is when you're on the tee box and a group rolls up behind you and then you proceed to just smash your drive dead central down the fairway.

Also nice: I was golfing on Friday and I had a shot where the ball was just barely outside of a greenside bunker. So my shot is I have to stand inside the bunker, with the ball probably 9" above my feet, and I chip it over the bunker onto a downhill sloping green that might have actually just been concrete painted green, and the ball stopped about 4' from the hole. I didn't realize that I had an audience from a nearby teebox but these guys were watching and were like "wow! Hell of a shot!"

Smashing a drive off the tee box is a great feeling but for me the best feeling is hitting a perfectly flush 7 Iron from the fairway and the ball landing on the green just like you pictured it in your head.

Good call. Esp if it spins back a little bit. Need to use my ballmark fixer tool? Oh hell yeah, let me repair my damage you beautiful delicate green. Roll true me boy

The inverse of this is one of the worst feelings in golf: absolutely chunking a drive with the group behind you watching. I get nervous in these situations, so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy often.

Amen, brother. I could be +2 at the turn and if an audience sees me chunk it off the 10th tee...it's gunna be a long back 9

the interesting thing is the mccarthy got kicked out just for funding the govt but johnson completely rolled them, and it looks like the freedom caucus will do nothing more than whine about it.

https://twitter.com/conorsen/status/1781741518664950129

The process of finding McCarthy’s replacement made them look inept. This bill makes them look inept. Perhaps they realize this and don’t want to take another step down the inept ladder.

I have not seen any evidence that "looking like a gigantic idiot" has ever been a deterrent for these cats

What changed my game was some simple advice: vertical drop, horizontal tug.

I'm trying to figure out what this means without googling and I got nothin

Don't millennials/genZers pretty much have to have more education? Not sure if it's just hyperbole but I keep hearing more and more stories of positions requiring a 4 yr degree when the job description quite frankly doesn't even require a full high school education.
One primary source anecdote: Mrs BAC (works for Satan in O&G) mentioned that they have job openings for admins. She also noted that all of the current admins... Most of which have been working there between 15-20 years, are not qualified for the new hire admin positions they are looking to fill

this is a long discussion that has yet to yield an example of republican leadership in terms of infastructure

Ohhhhh it's comin' real soon, you'll see. Just like the crimes that sleepy Brandon is going to be impeached for. You'll all see soon enough, stay tuned!

Didn't something kind of big happen not long after that?

Can you imagine trying to run a national infrastructure program with a supply chain in complete disarray?  The cost overruns would have been insurmountable.

Thank you Flying Spaghetti Monster!!

The primary Republican push against the infrastructure bill last time was because as usual, it was just spending piled on top of spending. Not cutting anything to pay for the bill . . . this is not hard to understand, but apparently you never will.

Also,    at Dems not putting up the fight of all fights against anything that would have proven to be a net win or positive for Trump.

...you...you mean like literally 3 years after that? what are you even referencing right now?

One that seems to be going in the opposite direction of the norm:  Starbucks.

They incentivize you to use their app via free crap every so often, birthday drinks, etc.  The app used to ask you, after every purchase, how much you would like to tip.  They took that function away a year or so ago.  So now, you pay with the app, but if you don't have cash(lol, what's that) their employees get no tip.  Kinda wild.

I assume they found some legal reason to stop doing this and just took the option away before they got sued, but who knows.  Given the tip environment everywhere else, this one is a head scratcher.

when you are checking out on the starbucks app it has the total at the bottom and then a little button that says "wanna leave a tip?" but you do not have to engage with that button in order to complete your order.

When you are scanning the bar code in the drive through, that isn't there.   It used to be a pop up after they scanned your app, though.

am i to understand you are placing your order when you arrive instead of ordering ahead of time so its ready when you get there?
