Surprised there isn't some stupid drink combo/ mission thing in Aggieville like a Natural Disaster or something. Or is there and I am not hip to the scene.
used to just grab friends and do this every saturday, called it the "Bar Olympics"

Winter break used to do similar, this was at the height of the Inferno, so we did Inferno challenges.  Mostly drinking related, but more like 2nd cousin.

Ex>  hoe many bites to eat an apple?  My friend?  2  Also, I Inferno challenged my sis in-law to a sprint from Varney's to Hunam.

Her:  "I run marathons, bleah, bleah, bleah."
Me: "Oh yeah?  Well you just got burned, and I was wearing your tights and I ripped my shirt off and said mean things to you in a loud voice."

So, yeah.  I think it is fun to do things when you are drunk.  But make them so that you win, because winning feels awesome.
we would go from bar to bar and have challenges at the different bars, -darts, pool, trivia, run 21, basketball, any video games (Golden Tee), etc etc.  can be great fun coming up with creative drink challenges, and the Ville is always fun to be drunk at during the day when you kinda have it to yourself.

would be nice if pittman would break aldrichs leg or something like that.
can you imagine if he grabbed Sharon Collin's leg, snapped it, then sucked the marrow out of it?

He could hand the other leg over to young Silas, sitting court side, for a little picnic.
that would be an awesome scene, i wonder what's the best wine to serve with leg/leg marrow?

In all seriousness, that is perfect.
pickyourshoes is a good site, Bossi recommended it to me a while back.  I actually just came across those shoes this morning and mental noted them, so it was odd you started this thread on the same day.

Unless you have a multitude of investments and interest earning accounts or are divorced/self employed I don't see what you could screw up unless you just lied about stuff.
i think we're talking about the hard taxes to file, not those filing 1040ez's.

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Question for Combo Fans
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:02:17 PM »
When you're holding the combo fan hand sign up and screaming your lungs out at the OOD, does it kinda feel like you're sleeping with your sister?  I mean, really- football?  I would like to ask each of you "combo fans" to take a minute and think about what program it was that put this school onto the friggin' map.

I can tell you one sport that it wasn't, that sport is football.  Football has been and always will be the backseat program at our school.  There's no reason to kid yourself, no reason to trick yourself into believing that Snyder's lil' run back in the 90's was any more than just that, a lil' run.

Look guys, I get it, it was fun beating OU that one time.  Was cool when we beat Nebraska that one time too.  But did you really think it would last?  The administration in Anderson Hall has regained its long lost composure and knows our future is in basketball.  Football is for idiots.

KSU Hoops.  JR Rider, etc.

"Vibe it"  <-----new K-State hoops slogan

I'm amazed at how many people are willing to pay for professionals or software to do their taxes for them.  Unless you're rich with tons of assets and other rich people things, it doesn't seem very cost-effective.
risk - reward.  it's not a good thing to mess up on your taxes, unless you are equipped to handle doing them yourself then it's something best left to a professional.  and, suck it.
My mother did the family taxes all my life and she's a woman for Christ's sake.
she may have done them but that doesn't mean that she did them correctly

Forget the language, do you honestly want ku to win?
yeah I do.  we want the #3 team in the B12 to have more losses than the #2 team.

Always up to date.  J/k, bro.   :shy:

I'm actually probably going to get this book to read pretty soon, which I believe is about this topic.  I really enjoy reading about astrophysics topics.  Used to read Isaac Asimov's essays, and recently read this book.  I feel like the thought experiments that are frequently involved help stretch out the mind...
slimz, did you know that I came to bring the pain, hardcore to your brain? let's go inside my astralplane.

I love potato salad

I only like the white potato salad with a lot of dill in it.
i have two recipes for potato salad.  a white one and a yellow one.  i use a lot of dill in the white one.  in my yellow one I add chopped hard boiled egg and chopped up fried bacon.
