I had four fakes taken at Lucky's.  Started going with friends of ATO's had no problem.  Promptly puked in the pizza oven.  oops. :barf:

Jim's journal was awesome.  Waiting in line to pay fees at Ahearn was not.  One flat fee for as many classes was awesome.  Paying by the hour, not awesome.
ya i loved being able to stock up on classes and pay the same amount as the people who were only taking 12 hrs.  i over enrolled knowing that i'd end up dropping half of them.

So, that's why it took you seven years to graduate? :gocho:
FIVE (and a half).  damn it.   :bang:

Jim Hmielewski (O-lineman) used to wear flip flops literally every day of the year.  Two feet of snow?  fracking Hmielewski is still wearing flip flops.

1) how can you mention hmielewski without mentioning his headphones

or his super dark tinted glasses that he wore all the time

Would need to steal michigancats mp3 player for tunes for the whole trip. (preferably not the one that was flushed down the toilet.)

flushed down the toilet, mushed down the toilet.  WHO CARES!  it's still cleaner than your toothbrush and everything else in the world.

It's really not that hard.  You just have to know how to document.  You wait until you've got a big list of the problematic occurences, have them sign a corrective action plan under which failure to comply is grounds for dismissal, and wait for them to screw up.  If they screw up, fire them.  If they don't screw up, there's no longer a problem.  If you continue to think that there is, it's your problem.
that actually sounds like a big pain in the ass and much harder than having a one person layoff.

Think the general problem with the layoffs approach is that the company winds up having to pay unemployment.  If you get them fired for cause though, the company doesn't have to pay anything.

Of course, if the company doesn't have a problem with the layoff as a firing approach, I'd go with that.
companies rarely fire for cause anymore; you rrrreeeeeaaaalllllllllyyy have to screw up to get canned.  the potential litigation is just not worth it, they'd rather layoff,  pay unemployment, and be done with it all.  it's a great business model.

I love the fact that LSOC started a thread about a "Fantasy roadtrip" an hour before he started the thread about how to stop a baby from crying.  Things must be golden in the LSOC homestead right about now.

my guess is that most recruits think that at this point we are too elite for them to get any significant playing time anywhere in the near future (until their Jr year at least).  instead, they go where the cupboards are bare and they're sure to see some minutes as a Frosh, see Selby @ KU.

i love how these bozos are comparing everything in the world to being "as dirty as a turd", or "dirtier than a crap-laden toilet seat".  like that is a good thing.  dumbasses.

if any of you think you can recruit better than Frank and this staff then please, by all means, send Frank an email.  he will love to hear from you.  it's hilarious that this whole board was clamoring for an extension/raise for frank and his staff just a couple months ago, and now he's got it, and we got him, and all that you can do is bitch.  why don't you recruiting gurus out there outline for us real fans exactly the type of player and position, size, etc that this team needs most.  when you get done, come back here and check the latest commitments because I will guarantee that Frank and staff will have just gotten done inking that very kid to a scholarship to YOUR Kansas State University.

I'm not in Kansas. Trust me. It's a huge, documenting pain in the ass just to fire someone who's borderline Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and a little belligerent, yet hasn't like "touched" anyone at work. To make matters worse, the person's legally a minority three-times over and has a litigious history. HR is all over me on this.

Yeah, I'm not in KS either.  Seems like all these back country hicks on this board don't understand what us civilized folk have to go through to get someone fired, amirite!?

I'M IN KANSAS AND I CAN'T GET SOMEONE FIRED!

Another great option is to have "layoffs" but use them to just fire the hell out of a big group of slack asses.

You'd think this would be a great excuse to cut crappy employees, but some companies fail to realize this, and end up cutting as many good emps as bad ones.

Amirite pissclams?
i think it takes too long to sort through the good and the bad, they figure in job markets like these that they'll easily replace the missing good ones they let go.

sys i want to refer you to the "inside out" burger found here-

http://www.blancburgers.com/plazaburgers.html

my favorite on that menu is the barnyard but substituting the au pouivre burger and adding a peice of aged white cheddar.

I really don't understand why a guy who is obviously so sensitive keeps "putting himself out there" like that.  People aren't going to be nice to him on the internet.
the thing is that he enjoys the punishment, it's something that he's experienced his whole life.  as an adult he experiences less and less of it.  to fill that widening gap of demoralization which was at one point so full, he resorts to making videos that he knows will get made fun of.  then he gets mad when people make fun of them.   then he removes the videos.  then he puts the videos back up.  he enjoys getting his emotions stepped on, it's all he's ever known.

Damn good analysis there, friend.
thanks, I was hoping it would lure him into registering and responding.  the little douchebag didn't have the balls.  <---he likes this kind of treatment.

maybe the staff just knows that they can win by doing things the right way.  they don't need the "mercedes" recruits to win, instead they're building a foundation the way it is meant to be built and that will last.

i'd love to see what kind of recruiting the lot of you who are being so critical could pull off.  i know this much, none of the sh*t talkers here have been to the Elite Eight before, guess what?  Frank and his staff have been.  Tia.

F'ing love clams.  Need to finish that with a "u digg?" though.
damn it.  i considered a u digg? but didn't go with one.  damn it.

I use a paper towel if I have to grab the door handle, otherwise I just push it open with a non-food touching part of my body like my foot.
Yep. Batshit crazy.

i just wanted to point out to you that you're on really shaky ground here SBG.   really shaky.

Exact same here.  Sometimes I can find an edge towards the top of the door if it doesn't shut all the way.  Also I count to 20 before washing the soap off of my hands.

This got me to thinking.

When you decide to #1 at a #2 station -  or are using a toilet at a friends house or something - and see that the toilet seat has been left in the down position, what do you do or what do you use in order to get it back up?

I, Paul, lift the toilet seat with my foot. I will even flush with my foot if the flusher is long enough to take a reverse leg drop.

Do any of you ninnies lift the underneath part of the lid with your hands? That's so freaking nasty if you do.
i generally will attempt to lift with foot, if possible.  if i can't lift with foot then i'll go ahead and lift with hand, having complete confidence in my ability to wash my hands and have them cleaner than a brain surgeon when i'm done.

sidenote:  during a recent trip to mexico i discovered that they all use flushers that you flush with your foot.  incredible. made me feel incredibly devolved.

Is your name Howie Mandel??
could be, or you could just call me hygenic.  either one is fine, really.

i really am surprised about how many of you scumbags don't wash.  really making me rethink my pro-KATPAK position.  -oh, LOL, and i'm taking notes. don't you worry your fat, feces covered fingers, i'm taking notes.  if any of you ever do PAK with me, I'll be ready.
If you need to take a crap in a public place do you use those paper toilet cover things?  Does your office offer those?
it's called an ass gasket and the answer is yes, and yes.
