Yeah, that will be awesome. I've seen Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks twice now, they're great, but never thought I'd get the chance to see Pavement (and I had Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain on vinyl in 7th Grade

).

Too bad bands always sound awful at the Uptown.

What's even more stupid is going to watch some guy play a mashup "live" on stage. (Click mouse on "play.") But I saw Girl Talk last summer, and I gotta admit it was pretty damn fun (when drunk).

some are really really bad and some are better than both originals (like Absorb the Lip Gloss).
