Gene isn't making any move, my brotha, so might as well hope for the tournament and a lucky run.

Bro pretty routinely calls black people by the wrong name, he can't tell us apart, it's funny as hell. I'd love to know what happens in his head when he sees a black person on the grid walk who isn't Lewis Hamilton. It really only ever happens in Miami.

They ain't ever going to let another American buy a team

@WillieWatanabe still listening? Their season 9 recaps have really pissed me off, they're so goddamn whiny. I'm glad it's finishing if I'm being honest.

our nil is in a great place, but how much money do you think a freshman tight end, even a five star, is going to fetch? Cure isn't going to scratch the top 10 in nil for us and especially not Oregon. Maybe he would for KU, but I can't think that's a great sign for their program if they're breaking the bank on a tight end who hasn't even taken a college snap.

man eff kyle busch, I was so happy to see his bitch ass get mollywhopped. I can't stand Stenhouse's ass either, but that still of him from Jordan Bianchi's video will be iconic, forever.

Stenhouse vs. Childress would look like this

my boss went to the vegas race, he's not into racing, he took his daughter who is. He liked the cars, but he was not into the event, at all, said he'd never do it again.

I don't see how we have enough money to pay him and Avery at the same time in 2025.

you're kidding, right?

Have none of you seen I love Lucy? One episode some huge country singer played the Wabash Cannonball on guitar and sang the whole song. He was playing the part of Lucy's cousin or something.

my very first k-state game when The Pride of Wildcat Land started playing the wabash cannonball i was like "oh crap! that's that song from that episode of i love lucy where that one country singer played the whole song, i think he was her cousin or something?" iconic.

I'm damn near 50 years old, loved that show, in reruns, as a kid and I have no damn idea what he's talking about

So the Big 12 was the first to settle this thing. What does this really mean, the articles says that we are basically going to able to pay our players directly from the school. Will be interesting how this is all going to turn out.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/40192345/big-12-first-agree-settle-house-v-ncaa-case-sources-say

The other conferences also have to approve (likely) and the judge has to approve the settlement.  Haven't seen any commentary if that is likely or not.

Jeremy Crabtree said the other conferences have resolved their issues and everyone has informally agreed to the settlement.

My first job out of college was actually the year that I graduated. I was a lead teacher at the old K-State Child Development Center at Jardine. Ironically enough, DSF's daughter was in my class, she was one of my faves. Anyway, we had a nap time CD and one of the songs was some dude, not Johnny Cash, singing the Wabash Cannonball. That was my introduction to that song not being a K-State and UT band song.

How did you get there and how long did it take you to get out of the area?

The end of that match was wildly frustrating.

That's wolves nuggets game seven might have been the most improbable result I've seen in 40 years of watching the NBA

It is crazy ho Chelsea turned it around. Cole Palmer is amazing. Nkunku playing instead of Nicholas Jackson is such an incredible upgrade he is worse than Antony.

Smoke and mirrors

My wishlist is so we don't have to take Kaluma back.

I'm not sure anyone left is better. I'd like to take a bet on year two of development with this staff.

If it were only the plane thing with Royce White.

Nah, he wasn't fishing, despite hanging out with his buds here at gE sometimes that rivalry salt is hard to suppress

49
Meh, I was a little underwhelmed.

spracs, as a friend, I would strongly recommend you add “Loljk” or something like that before this turns into your own personal mahommes/lawl thread

I don't recall who started that thread, but it is far from certain whether he'll live up to his lofty expectations. Could go either way. I wasn't impressed w/ him last year. Granted, he was just a freshman.

Maybe reflect on why he's a top 10 Heisman favorite, as a true sophomore, but you are unimpressed. My guess is that you're more influenced by repeatedly reading on the phog that he can't throw than what he's actually shown.

He's limited in his attempts but 37 for 66 for 479 yards with 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. His QBR of 91.3 would have been second to Jayden Daniels, the Heisman trophy winner, if Johnson had enough reps to be qualified to be ranked. He's been phenomenal with his limited attempts, saying anything else is objectively incredibly difficult to prove.
