Knocked out two great soups this weekend (soups in June?)

- Vichyssoise at Earl's was right up there with Le Fou's
- White Asparagus at Affare (only available in May to early June)

they stopped doing the bottomless brunch not long after I saw more than one person barfing at the table

More than one!??!!! I don't think I've ever seen an adult vomit at a table in any setting

It was my first. I felt like we were in that scene from Stand By Me.

I don’t want to send this thread to the pit, but what is this woke turkey sandwich doing on the Costco menu? First, they take away churro and add the cookie, now this.

Turkey sandwiches in total are woke or this specific one?

That hot dog is entirely too red.

Good question WM, Jamaica is probably going to be my next Caribbean destination.

Of all the places I've been in the Caribbean, and there are many, I enjoyed Jamaica the least. Maybe consider the USVI or BVI, if you haven't been.

Agreed. Jamaica is bottom of the revisit list.

If you aren't in some elite F1 party I'm sure it's like every other racing event. Sit there and watch cars go by having no real idea what is happening, probably even worse on a road course.

I tried one Nascar and indycsr event when KS opened, decided it was not for me. Seemed incredible waste of time.

I watched the F1 Vegas one and was only interested when I could see a Vegas monument

"has anyone been to an F1 race, maybe in Europe"

"based on my experience at a nascar race at kansas speedway, it would suck"

lol love ya phil

A car race is a car race. The F1 allure is the glitz right?

No

Not to go off track here but what is the difference in F1 vs Nascar or indycar?

Cars and tracks and rules and storylines and global presence. No ovals in F1 is probably the biggest along with races all over the world and also the cars are faster and more advanced than the others.

So car racing with fancy presence/parties. Going faster isn't a different experience. Indycar does road tracks and so does Nascar right?

I get there maybe differences to the trained racing eye but I wasn't getting that level of depth from the original question hence my original answer.

As a Missouri man I still fly to Vegas to sports bet and they now have the whole season week to week game odds online. Chiefs favored in each except road 9ers game. Not sure if the ks books have that yet?

Why wouldn't you just drive across State Line Rd.?

I do, that was a "joke". I hadn't been over there since schedule release do the Kansas books have every week posted?

If so, that is goddam genius and Donovan/Hunt are very scary men

I heard a Catholic priest tell a lady she would never know what it's like to be a woman until.she quit her job and had children. I know a lot of Catholics that got outraged at that guy so it's definitely in the ethos somewhere but not commonplace.

Lol at a GUY who can't marry or have kids telling a female they wouldn't be whole until they did. Ultimate mansplaining?

HB can believe what he wants as can anyone but those rushing around to defend him or bemoan kcmo twitter making s joke yet flipping their crap on kneeling during the anthem are hilarious

There was a time when if the Chiefs weren't on noon Sunday it meant we were at an AFC West rival, but that was about it.

I have spent an absolutely painful number of cold sunday mornings in the lot.  I remember a 3:25 game was a delicious treat.

I deserve this.

8am wake up after a cats Saturday was brutal. 3pm in the winter isn't that fun though either imo.

Yikes, a lot of noon games this year, is the shine wearing off our dudes?
3 out of 17 games in the Sunday noon slot has got to be the fewest of any team

Yeah I first thought wow lot of noon games then realized how many of them were special non Sunday games. 8 national TV games by my count and those 3om Sunday ones will be majority of the country. Good to be king.

Also makes Sunday ticket a good buy since we never have a noon Sunday to worry with.

Is anyone doing any road games this year for our Chiefs? I'm going out to Buffalo and will be powerbombed through a table! Going to be a fun time.

New Orleans in February
