The 2014 version of the Great American Race is Sunday. Hopefully there will be none of those pesky rain delays. I'm hoping for a Dale Jr. win, but the Gibbs team looks pretty strong. Thoughts, predictos?

Announced today that 2014 will be his last season. He'll get a great farewell tour around the majors. Always liked him. "Captain" in every sense of the word.

I think so. Injuries aside (especially to Kobe) the Lakers are floundering and have no direction. Would Phil come back? Although he has issues with Jim Buss, it's all about $. Make the right move, Jim, and tuck tail and ask Phil to come back. Or argue and bicker with your sister, who seems to have more BB savvy than you, IMO.

Although the arbitrator reduced his suspension to 162 games plus the 2014 post-season, A-Rod is done. The guy is a great talent who never believed in his raw skills but instead found a need to rely on substances.

His team lost its bowl game, the NFL hasn't come sniffing, our guy Bill showed him up (and will again), and no other non-Rutgers NCAA team seems to have any interest in hiring him as a HC or in any other capacity. Is Rutgers his final stop until he sells cars for a living?

What real purpose does it serve? The BWWB announcers didn't seem to like it, and I don't either. Coach Snyder is not a fan of it. Increasingly, it seems silly, like the Wave.

After a bad start to this season, then some good wins, then a great bowl game victory...what's next?
IMHO, Coach Snyder finds a way to resolve the "QB controversy" and Jake and Sams will both contribute significantly to a very successful season. Jake will take most of the QB snaps and the Snyder Wizard will find ways to make Sams like a knight or bishop in chess...many masterful moves.
