Church service at 5pm, come back to my parents house where my moms side of the family comes over. All of us grandkids play a game of apples to apples. There is lots of boozing happening. We have dinner (feast of beef tenderloin, twice baked potatoes and other great stuff) have a gift exchange then desert and coffee and then everyone goes home. I then watch one full showing of A Christmas Story and then drift off to a long winter's nap.

We do all the stuff that night. Eat a bunch of great food, open presents, booze a bit. I'll leave my folks house at like ten and hit up some neighborhood bar for some beers afterwards. We don't really do much on Christmas day, that's when the brothers spend time with their in laws.

(so freakin awesome) then go home and drink some spiced tea and other treats. Watch the kids open one present and then off to bed with the little life killers (JK). Help Santa out and then binge bros... just the righ amount tho.

I've decided to tell my employees that they have Christmas Eve Day off. In fact, I'm letting them head out Monday after lunch. I wouldn't be where I am without them.

Tell them first thing this morning so that they can notify their spouses if necessary. This might cause some plans to change for some of them, so give them some warning!
