Jake was poor in the run game no doubt, but he and Lockett and Sexton shredded the 2nd best pass defense in the league. Problem was with no run threat there was no space in the red zone to be effective. But without an effective passing game we lose this game 20-10 with about 190 yards of offense.

some people are just going to kill jake no matter what.  even with 0 running game we averaged 6.3 ypp tonight.  that's still a pretty effective offense. 

jake was bad in the running game and our offense inside the red-zone was pretty lousy, but i mean, if your upset, there are 5 offensive lineman and two runningbacks and two offensive coordinators that deserve more criticism than waters tonight.

Man, I agree.  It seemed like I was watching goal line stands with chicken crap Prince QB who couldn't rush in a TD if his life depended on it.  The big pussy only could throw sideline dinks, just like a Jayhawk CC QB.  Thank God he had an NFL caliber receiver to save his ass.

i agree with this and with the fact that we should have a better qb than waters. it's v frustrating.
