Did nerves also make Hubes look like a whiner with terrible body language? He looked like the anti-Klien between plays, especially after bad ones.

With noted exceptions the 25 years of the LHC Bill Snyder era has likely been the most inept in P5 college football history at recruiting interior defensive linemen. Like, you literally have to try and be that (this) bad at it.

Oh, but golly Dax, getting good interior DL's is just really hard. No, nope, nearly every other P5 program manages to regularly land legit P5 serviceable interior DL, except one, K-State.

Considering that we appear to have no quality defense tackle besides Geary, and considering that we appear to have 5-6 decent linebackers, perhaps we experiment with a 3-4. It worked for Baylor last year (just need Geary to be a Billings, I guess (no raping, though)).
You have got to be one stupid mother rough rider to try to run a 3-4 defense without sure fire NFL d-line men (in Baylor's case the rapey'r the better). That nose guard better be a top 5 pick dline men that demands a double team on every god damn play too.

Well, like I said, Geary would need to be a Billings.

In any event, the issue isn't which defense is better; the question is which defense is better with the personnel we have. I mean, if you were our option at tackle besides Geary, I'm pretty sure I would rather roll with Sizelove as an additional linebacker. From what I understand, our options at d tackle are similar to you; thus, the idea.

But Gooch at defensive tackle. Think e=mc2. It's all relative. Compared to Gooch, Sizelove looks like LT. (Actually I think Sizelove is going to be very good, even if the comparison is somebody besides Gooch at tackle.)

I don't think it was hubes, bud. I think it was a late JUCO QB who was hurt his first season out in Cali who's already left the program. Water is wet tho.

Cantele was fine last year. Wth, man. Though this post did make me go look up McCrane's college stats. He is 25/26 on FG's in his career

Jack Cantele was by all accounts a very good college kicker. He was first team all conference. He had one bad game in three years, instead of shitting on him we should be happy that for the last three years we've had the two best kickers on the conference.

I can't forgive him for the Auburn game. Probably not fair, but that's where I stand.
