Why has Ukraine enjoyed so much bandwidth over the past few years? Our last presidential impeachment involved Ukraine.

Doesn't anyone get a propaganda vibe from all the scrappy can do success of the Ukrainian people? Photos of women soldiers, earrings, makeup and fresh faced?

The unification of Europe? Switzerland abandoning neutrality? Where was this when Putin invaded Crimea?

I feel it incumbent upon me to bash Putin's corrupt ass just I can avoid the incoming attacks of "you're pro-Putin." I most certainly am not, so save the thread from that.

Make no mistake -- Russia/Putin are acting evil, and I pray Ukraine is able to defend itself, however there should be some pause at what cost we want to ensure peace in the world. And in my opinion, absolute cancelation of nations is dangerous -- it will lead to at best a new world order or at worst a nuclear fallout (if not both).

I fear this is where we are with Cancel Culture though. Your nation will comply or be erased (with no ultimatums).

These are the new "Colors of the World" crayons from Crayola. I have no problem with these crayons, the box, or the fact that Crayola is attempting to be inclusive to everyone's skin tone around world. My son's Pre-K program started using these in all of their classrooms, but they never requested the parents to buy them. In fact, they asked us to buy them the larger (easier to hold) washable crayons.

The issue I have is that my 5 year old son has repeatedly asked me, "are we very light almond?". He also started expressing how other people have different skin then "us" and asking "why are they different from us?". He has also said this gem at the store, "they are darker than me".

Face palm.

Before the Pre-K started using these crayons and "teaching" the kids about different levels of melanin in our epidermis, my son and his friends had never (in our presence) uttered a single word about being "different" from his friends in any way, shape, or form. We are now struggling with the concept and how to explain to our 5 year old that skin color shouldn't matter, when he's being told it absolutely does matter during coloring time.

At what point do they become, in fact, the enemy. I mean real enemy, out in the open. A friend of mine's son was a card-carrying member. He found the Lord and gave it up. But holy ****, the infiltration of that group into everything in this country is mind blowing. Government and academia for sure, but private industry, such as finance, banking, hospitals, oil & gas. And they have real assignments.. Real agendas. Coordinated.

Conservatives have no institutional power. So that means if they express their political views, they can be denied travel on every airline --- every major carrier is left wing controlled.

Since these airlines are participating in FAA regulated interstate commerce, I believe that they should NOT be allowed to discriminate by viewpoint.

If this pattern of denying people service, denying them employment, and denying them participation in the normal day to day functions of society continue, we are going to have a civil war sooner rather than later.

If they can force a company to serve you because you are black or even if you choose to be gay, they should also force a company to serve you even if your political ideology is different.

They are opening up a brand new L4 BSL in Manhattan Kansas which aims to study animal diseases. The building is made of glass and is parked in tornado alley. I'm sure there will never be an accidental release into the heart of our food supply.

I still don't understand why they closed Plum Island.

Depends on how open to conspiracy you are. Much harder for an "accidental" release on plum island to get to the food supply vs. Manhattan Kansas.

The risk to the food supply is inexcusable; its either extreme negligence or intentional malice (I think it's malice personally).

I think that Plum Island was the only place in the US where hoof and mouth was permitted to be studied. It seems crazy to move the research into areas where an escaped animal could do serious damage. On Plum Island, at least, an escaped animal would likely drown before it could make it to shore.

I worry more about a tornado or some ******* not washing his hands and going to the local petting zoo.
